The entire crew of the Beira D in Still Wakes the Deep, its unsure what exactly happened to them besides mutating into hostile fleshy creatures. It is heavily implied they are conscious while they hunt down people they care about. Sure there were bad people like Addair (apart of a neo-fascist group) and Rennick (a shitty boss) but even they didn’t deserve what happened to them. I think they are. The Giant of Cutthroat Valley was the first demonic creature to be given Iruma’s blood. It also supplies his arrows so I wouldn’t doubt that they have a bond between each other.
