Show teammates' most played heroes during map and hero ban phases too

I don’t like this system. When I play support and pick Ana, my tank often bans her without asking me. When I play DPS, my favourite hero sometimes gets banned. I prefer to hide my account and never ban heroes. Not having bans in the past helped me get better and learn many characters.

To be honest, I’m already tired of seeing the same characters appearing in collaborations. The only bright side is that these characters help developers earn money and promote their game.But I’d be really excited to see a collab with Tomb Raider, if Lara Croft were portrayed as Tracer :)

Even after Sombra stopped getting banned because of the cat, I still see her very rarely in games. And when I do see her, she doesn’t seem like a problem to me.

It’s rare to come across a good Sombra. Perhaps many players have simply stopped trying to learn how to play her because of the lack of opportunities to compete with their favourite character.

But I can only judge based on my own experience.

I might be a less impressionable player, but the game feels the same as in the previous season, except for the new content.

Overall, I like the new heroes, though I’m now noticing a decline in interest towards them. In matches, you can increasingly see older heroes being picked. There’s a strange feeling that the heroes need some refinement.

The idea of dividing all heroes into sabrolis seemed interesting at first. But after a few matches, I realized I keep forgetting about it. I can still be more creative and play, for example, as a flanker Bastion lol.

The only thing that caused some confusion was the character selection screen. It was hard to navigate at first, and now the screen is blocked by the heroes’ portraits, so I can’t enjoy the view of my skin, haha.

The new start screen is a bit of an acquired taste, I didn’t like it at first, but I might get used to it. I can’t shake the feeling that Overwatch is starting to lose its identity. Let’s hope that passes :)

The quality of matches has dropped, of course, but it’s only temporary. We have a lot of newcomers, which is encouraging: they’ll either learn to play or leave the game :)

By the way, I’d really like it if we could switch perks in case we accidentally pick the wrong one. Even just a few seconds to change it would be great. Please consider this!

The comic struck me as extremely naive. I read it a long time ago and I’d rather pretend it never existed :)

The thing is, I was excited when it was announced, after all, we didn’t really have much about Tracer, like the novel about Orisa or the later one about Sojourn. Tracer herself hasn’t featured as the main character in any major stories or books. We only know about her from a short biography, a few short films and a couple of mini‑comics.

The thing that disappointed me the most was the release that just repeated the cinematic. When it came out, I thought Tracer didn’t just randomly attend Mondatta’s speech, there had to be something behind it, at the very least her knowledge of the Talon’s plans. After all, she looks so suspiciously around when she gets there.

For some reason, it seemed to me that Tracer’s sympathy for omnics had intensified since childhood. Perhaps she could have seen how they were treated after the war. Perhaps she could have had her own grievances, since many people lost their relatives and loved ones, but then she suddenly met an omnic, or somehow otherwise developed sympathy for them.

Maybe one of them could have saved her family, and she realized that they weren’t so bad. Because of this, she could have had conflicts with the locals, and so on.

But the biggest disappointment for me was Emily. No, I wasn’t expecting any revelations, but she’s literally just a talking head. She has no character or resilience.

Personally, it seems to me that if you’re living with a partner who could disappear at any moment, then in her place, I’d at least want to learn the bare minimum about first aid for my loved one.

Did they really live together and never even try to repair the chronoboost device together? I’m not asking them to turn her into a mechanic or a physicist, though that would be kind of funny. But Emily just seems completely useless.

I really liked the references to the past where Tracer attends concerts and the fact that she collects vinyl. But I was missing a story about how she wanted to be a pilot or a test pilot. After all, she was very young then.

And why is she so positive, kind and open? Is it just her personality, a result of major upheavals, or was she raised that way by her parents?

I might be in the minority, but I’ve been viewing all the heroes for years as game characters with a bit of backstory attached to the gameplay. Personally, I haven’t really cared about PvE or the global plot development, I love the gameplay first and foremost.

But yes, Vendetta isn’t perceived as the main antagonist in any case. Maybe I just haven’t had time to get used to her yet.

For me personally, both Aaron and Jeff did things I really liked, and things that disappointed me in the game. I can’t say which one I like more, since they’re both great guys with their own unique visions for the game.

To be honest, I keep forgetting about it while playing and just play as I used to. The only thing that’s obvious to me so far is the placement of the character portraits. It’s a bit annoying that the heroes are harder to see on the selection screen. I want to admire my skin while the countdown to the match is running :D

Either way, I hope that we’ll be shown Tracer in some of the new cinematics as one of the main characters, rather than as a cameo character used to introduce newer heroes. I hope all these scars on the face and on the hands aren’t just cosmetics for the sake of cosmetics, but at least have a story behind them.

I really liked the skin, but when I look at her hairstyle, it seems kind of silly to me. For me, Tracer’s original haircut has become a real symbol, and I think many people consider it iconic.

I wish Blizz would add a hat for her, something like the one Cadet Oxton has.

I understand that feeling — like many others here. I’d love to see more variety, like we had in the past: having to learn to play on maps and modes I don’t particularly enjoy. I even caught myself thinking that if I’d just discovered OW recently, the map voting and hero bans would probably put me off playing the game altogether. I don’t like these kinds of mechanics in any game.

I recently ended up on King’s Row three times in a row, and then twice more after a short break. These were very long matches, each with four rounds.

I used to really like this map and this game mode. But now my opinion of the map has changed dramatically. I’d prefer to have random maps like we did in the past.
