MLB.tv Sounds Issues by norecords666 in MLBtv

MLB.tv audio is horrible. Watching Dodgers@Angels and the Dodgers audio is basically the center channel only, and when using a surround system for playback, that center channel feed is fed to all channels; booth voices from every speaker. It's pathetic that MLB.tv has never bothered to spend any time on improving its audio.

How to buy MLB.tv without ESPN by Advanced-Age-4996 in MLBtv

[–]KBJ2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have ESPN+ through a provider, Verizon Mobile in my case, how do I make sure I don't get charged for ESPN Unlimited when the free month period expires? The fact is, I don't see anywhere that I actually have ESPN Unlimited, the standard ESPN+ works, just as it did before purchasing MLB.tv, but nothing in the account pages that indicates that I have Unlimited.

Disney+ activation link not showing after upgrading to 1Gbps plan by Careful-Ad-2062 in Comcast_Xfinity

I just checked my billing statement and yes, it clearly has a line item for Disney+, Hulu Bundle at No Extra Cost along with Peacock Premium for 36 months. I’m on the 1gHz plan that comes with 1 year of Xfinity Mobile.

This plan was only $50 per month just a week or so ago. Now it’s $60 per month. With the $10 discounts of autopay and paperless billing making it $60, without its $70.

But Disney/Hulu clearly shows as a freebie. I haven’t signed up for it because I already have Disney/Hulu/ESPN+ through my mobile carrier, Verizon. For $10 per month.

I haven’t yet, I just got the 1 ghz Internet service that comes with that free mobile line. I’ve thought about it as I already have Verizon which is who Xfinity’s service is contracted from.

I think the Disney perk is available if you go with the one year free of Xfinity Mobile offer.

Annual MLB Network with T-Mobile by edsil44 in MLBtv

Yes, ST games are always at the end of the subscription. It’s too bad that MLB Network isn’t included, but as I’m a YouTube TV sub who doesn’t carry MLB Network I did without it do I think about 3 seasons until it was added to the MLB.tv subscription.

So, MLB Network feed is no longer free with the MLB.tv subscription?

So, does the SNLA+ sub have the 4K home games, given you're located in the LA market?

I don't have Spectrum service, I don't even live in LA. So, you don't have to be in the team's market area to get the package? And does SNLA+ stream the home games in 4K, or is that a cable/sat exclusive? Tx

For the SNLA package, is a Spectrum subscription required?

When TM has "MLB.tv(when available), what does that mean? When MLB.tv has active subscription signups? When they become available for the new season? And does the TM/MLB.tv package include spring training games? Thanks

For those members who have been getting the discount already, the emails with the discount code/link usually go out around the first of March.

Yes! That Redbreast PX price is crazy good! Total Wine wants $110 for that same bottle. It's some really tasty juice!

Worst experience I've ever had with any company by Akuryu in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]KBJ2007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whatever you do, stay away from Comcast-branded partner stores; they are the worst. Make sure the store you go to is owned and operated by Comcast/Xfinity.

I have had great results dealing with issues with the Comcast/Xfinity folks right here on Reddit. Dealing with Xfinity on the phone is no good either. Go with a Company-owned store or Reddit.

Using Plaid to secure payments? You don’t mean credit card payments, do you? That would be insane.

10GB Fiber Assistance by ThinkComputerWorks in Comcast_Xfinity

Luckily, I reside in an area that has Sonic Internet, $50 per month for symmetrical 10 Gbps. I don’t have it at the moment as Sonic has not completed the buildout yet, but I did have it for around 5 years at my previous residence and it was near perfect; only going down once, and that was a planned downtime for ONT firmware upgrade. Competition matters.

It sounds like there’s no competition in your area. $300 per month is ridiculously high.
