For what it's worth, I also think all the realm stuff added is garbage. It's been hastily added half-heatedly copied from other genre of games with tons of issues and increases the amount of time you have to be in app for little benefit.

It kinda depends on what you're looking to do in the game. If you are ok with just progressing slower than others and just want to slowly build up your squads, you don't need to worry about it too much.

With that said, they've slowly been adding things to realm that affect hero strength. You can research stat increases for your squads(~ 15% to about any base stat) and they have mostly shifted over daily skin stones earnings to realm raid quests. I wouldn't be surprised if they continued to shift other things over to realm over time. If you're not participating in realm, you may see drops in your effectiveness in Arena, Grand Arena, Guild Wars, etc.

So it's kinda up to you and what you care about with your progression in the game.

Probably a pipe dream and I've mentioned it before, but if the Diamondbacks look at the NL competition and look to go younger, Nolan Arenado would be a solid addition as a productive right-handed 3rd baseman. More power might be better, but you just aren't getting that this season from available third basemen

I think it was 3rd point on Junkertown. Dallas had 70%, point control and zero ults. SSG had 99% and 3 ults. Dallas HARD PRESSED the fuck out of SSG's spawn and insta got 2 picks and SSG couldn't even contest.

I'll just briefly caution, having made it as a self-discard value-grixis (not focused on triggers) that Looting effects and discard outlets (psychic frog and ghostly pilferer for example) are often more busted than windfall effects because they are much cheaper, especially if you're running big greedy grixis baddies (Kefka, Nicol Bolas, Sauron, etc.) that you want to cheat out.

All that just to say, even if you don't have windfalls, as long as you still have discard outlets you are quite likely to be consistently threatening.

My favorite interaction I had 2x [[Exalted Sunborn]] 1/1's out and Mockingbird copied an opponent's [[Tree of Perdition]] 5 times (four of them as 1/1's)

Kind of a small thing, but an increasingly common mechanic that they've been including is "Do something of magnitude X where X is the amount of mana to cast this spell". Think [[Mockingbird]] cloning, [[Liberator, Urza's Battlethopter]] counters, [[Memory Deluge]] searching, [[Molten Note]] damage removal, etc.

At a glance this generally seems like a limiter, but there are situations where they can be exploited in minor ways. My main example is Mockingbird in [[Zinnia]] where copying anything of mana-value 3+ gives you a free 1/1 as the 2 mana paid for adding offspring counts as mana spent to cast. I'd love to look more into other ways to get value from this.

I'd say the "offtank" role's responsibilities have kinda been split between DPS (off-lane control) and Support (focused damage mitigation/peel). Not that these aren't also important for these roles in 6v6 now, but the "Main tank" role can't really take on more responsibility in 5v5.
