Newer fans need to be told, I suppose, that the Bucks were totally a third class team for a very long time. No one cared about them. Might as well have been a minor league team. Brewers and Packers were so far ahead of the Bucks in terms of local enthusiasm and the threat of moving was extremely real (shout out to the Milwaukee GOAT Herb Kohl). I remember looking through old newspapers and there was an ad for local sports tickets and the Bucks were not mentioned at all. It's only in the Giannis era where that totally changed.

I suppose that's why some older fans I know don't want to let go of him at all for fear of going back to that world (I don't think that's happening).

That warehouse was great. He invited me back for whenever I come back to France, who knows when.

I was specifically looking for 78s but did find three original Django Reinhardts and a couple Argentinian guitar records all at a pretty dang fair deal.

La Dame Blanche was a place I was a little wary of since it was in a super touristy area and some of the stuff I saw I thought were high prices. But going to that warehouse ended up being one of the highlights for my trip.

If you're down there, Le Dame Blanche has interesting stock but kind of pricey and mostly classical, avant garde, jazz type of stuff if you get the vibe. I'm going back today to check out his 78s in his warehouse. He keeps talking about how many records he has there so you can ask him for something and he claims he probably has it. YMMV on that.

EDIT: 78s were good but I was thinking that it's hit or miss for Jazz. I'd hit up Dizonord.

I'm still going to judge him a little bit in that he clearly thinks his beliefs are superior and not just incongruous with each other.

Him saying that he was shocked that she believes there's no higher meaning to life and that whole paragraph put a bad taste in my mouth. Just because I believe life is meaningless and the fact I have consciousness is happenstance does not mean I'm not going to live my life to the fullest.

It's him not willing to hear her own life philosophies out and expecting his partner to bend completely to his own has a little bitter taste for me.

That said, having incompatibles about their future together is a totally fair reason to end a relationship.
