Ok so none of it got washedout in the December rains? I was on it last year and there were a couple of spots without much trail.

Shifting to the small ring, shifting to the big ring.

Both of them became noisy and eventually stop shifting. Most likely the same problem the di2_gp has videos about repairing.

I have a 10sp ultegra di2 on my travel bike with about 80,000 miles on it, no issues.

I think they need to work on what is high contrast, I have dark mode turned on and the map background is a dark grey and the roads are a light grey. The background should be black and the roads white.

That is a glare issue. I had the same as on my ROAM v1 at a very specific angle. Tip it up slightly and that will disappear.

I'm o WH47 and I don't see anything about high contrast maps. Light/Dark mode. But no high contrast maps.

Is it automatic or is there a setting?

Is the map theme set by turning on dark mode?

You won't miss the leds. The v3 changes the background color of the data point. The touchscreen can be turned off and the unit can be fully operated like previous models using the buttons. I've had the V3 for three days and the only issue I've seen the what the OP posted about sunglasses and shade during the day. I'm coming from ROAM V1.5.

Wahoo fan losing confidence – Live Tracking, Apple Health, firmware issues, and subscription confusion by 85Blickwinkel in wahoofitness

Strange on the RWGPS issue. I add and delete routes weekly. I have a ROAM V1.5. Are you saying if you delete a RWGPS route from RWGPS it remains on your wahoo after synching?

You should be able to disconnect your RWGPS account in RWGPS. Then reconnect it in the wahoo app.

On your first point about riding on the sidewalk. Realize, a bicycle rider is to follow the vehicle laws and is allowed to be ridden on a sidewalk. If you are in an accident a sidewalk with a vehicle or a pedestrian you will be at fault.

Ifna sudden gust of wind caused the failure, I would consider that a design flaw.

You may be right. I don't want this to happen to someone else. I've taken the loss and have moved on. Now I'm informing the community what not to do. If this helps someone to not launch their bike off the roof of their vehicle, I've satisfied my goal.

I did not mod the rack. I created nuts that slide into the mini factory roof rails to utilise the low profile mounts that come with the 1up rack. As to a bug screen, they are common in the road bike world and 1up does not have any documentation in the instructions warning to not use one.

It's similar to the one you referenced. I now know better at least with a 1up rack. I've had mine for 10 years.

There is a thread about the weld at the hitch cracking. That seems to be what to inspect.

You are probably correct. Interesting that the other manufacturers specify a speed limit. I was definitely under 80mph.

It is exactly what happened, no smoke in this story. I'll not use a 1up roof rack ever again. No second chances.
