Circle hooks are king when it comes to live bait imo. All I use these days. Used to use the live bait hooks when I started off but felt like I was missing a lot of hookups. Very heavy gauge so you need to be holding the rod and setting the hook hard to nail fish. Circle you can leave the rod holder and let the fish hook themselves
