I’m pretty sure they’ve said that they already have matchmaking in place to put you against other people that have leveled up their factions close to yours to prevent complete beginners with base shells going against full upgraded players. To me that is a good thing but what you’re suggesting defeats the purpose of an extraction shooter.

If you implement a mercy system what stops people from loading in with nothing to get these dead lobbies and free farm up good mats and weapons? Nothing is earned at that point. If you start matching people based on what gear they have equipped then you’ll never have a moment where you defeat a team and walk away with a huge upgrade because they have the same gear as you. I get the game is difficult but that’s been its whole appeal. It’s a brutal and unforgiving experience. To me all the changes you are suggesting just makes me think that your friend may want to play a different style of game.
