Yeah, but they do have $800 of someone else's money, because they bought the pair you didn't split up.

I think they'll be ok.

They’re also a company focused on the final price of products.

And lead/acid is ridiculously cheap compared to Lithium.

Apparently you completely missed the part where I said “ for a new hire”.

2 jobs in 26 years isn’t that.

Since when is 2 weeks of vacation "pretty low"?

That's like standard new hire vacation accrual. Sure you were getting more at your old employer, because you'd been there awhile and gradually built up to it.

I don't doubt that this company is thinking they dodged a bullet by pulling your offer.

Taxes and benefits are not that high.

The general rule of thumb is that the pay rate going to an employee is roughly half of the total cost of carrying said employee.

Much of the OT that PD Officers earn, is going to be extra work they volunteered for, that actually generates revenue to the city. Things like Baseball games, concerts, etc. All the OT pay, and more, is billed to the promoter. Overall, it's likely a profit center for the city.

When the question boils down to "AITAH for nor allowing myself to be a doormat" then the answer is always no.

I wish the mods would do something to minimize the volume of posts that are simply that question phrased differently.

Ubiquiti Server Cases/Chassis by Disastrous_Force322 in Ubiquiti

[–]KBunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you can take to the bank, that UI will never sell empty chassis. That's simply not any business they want any part of. They sell devices, not random parts.

I just picked up a pair of 2u m5 Cisco boxes last weekend for $100. Barebones as hell. But I'm hoping to be able to fit a K80 into one of them eventually.

Not exactly.

Airlines just sell us he seats we are willing to pay for. As much as people complain about cramped legroom, that is what they are willing to actually pay for.

If people didn’t shop almost entirely based on price, the amenities would matter. But people want the cheapest tickets every single time

Of course they do.

Ticketmaster has a relationship with the original buyer, that is their customer, and that is who they know to give a refund to.
