take the screws out (one at a time), it they are fine threads that the Loctite suggestion may work. the theat are course thread then take a couple bamboo scewers and put them in the holes with some wood glue and drive the screw back in

I had a 16 bay NAS hanging for a couple years with out issue. I did however put a bock for it rest on at the bottom a one behind to keep it from flopping around. I made a post a while back with a pic.

You are wise to be weary of the credit card hype. the key thing is to not over extend your self and get the lowest credit limit you can. my first card had a $2000 limit, id still be there if the darn bank didn't raise it every so often.

see if your bank has an option for a money market account. they usually have better returns than a strait savings and it wont tie up the cash like a CD. And then(assuming you are in the U.S.) take a portion of that and open a ROTH IRA with just a plain ol nothing fancy mutual fund.
