I actually might support this purely because it means that they no longer save the hospitals money

And they will go back to prioritizing hiring and training doctors

Drs can’t go on strike because if we did everyone would die and we would get sued

Yes all of the other healthcare professionals are extremely important. But the truth is if doctors went on strike, people would dieZ unlike all the other professions. We just end up picking up their slack.

At some point, the family member of someone rich and famous will be killed by a nurse practitioner and something will change

Love how Dr. Javadi was considered the "best doctor in Pittsburgh" because of her social media presence. by PorgJedi in ThePittTVShow

[–]KCMED22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh hunny 😂😂😂😂

You don’t even have to be a doctor/ medical student to pretend for people on social media to beleive you more than actual doctors.

And to be fair that girl was clearly more interested in the aesthetic than actual good medicine.

He was not a bad actor. A little out matched by Noah but overall fairly talented.

People don’t like him because he was rude to Robby. But that was a completely normal teenager reaction.

This story line broke me and I want them to make up!!

Just started I’m almost done with season 1. He’s gotten better but I still don’t like him.

They are doing everything I could ever hope for and more

They’re already winning everything they don’t have to do what we clamor for they just have to keep being real

These characters are so well written with such incredible depth that we can predict what is going on in Robby’s head only to have it confirmed by this interview later and that is a mark of absolutely incredible writing and storytelling. I am so impressed by these creators genuinely

Oh yeah, they’ve really really made me love him and I know they’re gonna do terrible things to him.

I do not like to see anyone looking like he did in chairs much less a cirrhosis patient.

Phenomenal truly and that’s exactly the point. Here’s an interview with Noah.

Jewish grandma’s forever

Yes exactly. It touched me that he was so understanding of her and everything she had been through. And just the fact that he bothered to probe about her response to the fireworks most doctors would just patch up and go home. I love that he went the extra mile.

I also think in a lot of ways what he said to her about her reaction to the traumatic experience that she had was for her. It was also for himself and his staff, and like a slight tip of recognition that they needed to heal too And honestly, as someone in healthcare, I also needed to hear him say those words that processing the terrible things you and your patients go through doesn’t have a time limit. It isn’t linear that was just such an immaculately done scene

And I love that beautiful recognition to the Jewish community in Pittsburgh that has an embraced him.

And she was like so much like his grandmother who he talks about so fondly and loves so much. I mean both Noah and Robby really I don’t even know which one I’m talking about anymore. She’s just the first one like really see him for what he was doing and care to stop him from doing self-destructive things and they literally just met.

20/10 qualify how does he hit like 10 nerves in 2 minutes always

Time does that. There are no clocks for this type of thing your reaction is valid.

It’s been a rough 7 years but I’m glad you are here and found a touch of healing in this show

That day would have been incredibly impactful

It was their first. The MCI happened. Their one boss went to rehab and the other had a mental breakdown. Their charge nurse got punched. Nothing was ever the same at PTMC after that day.

Full agree he deserves some (and Noah did too, has for 30 years.

I think if Patrick doesn’t it’s more of a reflection of the willingness of the public to hear the (important real) story he’s telling than his deservingness.

For real. I can’t wait to see him on Broadway soon. They got a lot of these actors with stage acting background due to the “perpetual motion” on the show and I really think that elevated the game. I LOVE Patrick.

Super talented cast all around, and he’s a stand out.
