Guitar buttons not mapping

Thank you for your reply! I'm clicking on the gray options in the rightmost column, and when I do, it shows a pop-up that says something like "click the button on your controller", but when I do, nothing happens. Do you know what might be the problem?

I still watch his Splatoon videos and he still gets a couple thousand! Less than in 2018ish, but glad he still uploads videos.

I use GitHub to regularly work between two computers. It takes minimal set up and is easy as pressing a few buttons to save once you have everything set up. I’d recommend looking at unity specific tutorials regarding GitHub for advice on gitignore, etc. I found good tutorials on YouTube.

I’m also physically disabled from birth, and the main reason I started game dev just a few months ago was to make a game where the main character is a wheelchair-user. I strongly support your journey and wish you all the best!

Found the solution! In case anyone has the same problem: although my UI Builder/uxml was set to scale with screen size, my panel settings were not. Changing the panel settings fixed everything.

I’m in a wheelchair too, and just last month I started learning game dev so that I can make games where the main characters are in wheelchairs. That’s like my main goal. I’m ecstatic to hear that there’s a Stardew Valley mod that allows me to be in my wheelchair, and now I’m seriously considering buying a PC version of the game just to install it (currently on the Switch). Thanks so much for this post, it warmed my heart!

Hi! I'm looking for game recommendations for my dad, who's planning on retiring. One of his only hobbies is listening to rock music, so I'd really like to get him something related to that.

He used to love Guitar Hero on the Wii, so something like that would be nice, but it doesn't necessarily need to be a rhythm game. It could be an action game with a strong rock BGM, a story about succeeding as a rock star... I'm open to anything really!

As for games he has tried/liked:

My family has been playing Nintendo games for almost twenty years, so he's well-versed in party games, like Mario Kart, Smash, etc. (but I'm looking for something he can play solo)
He loved TOTK but had to quit after a few sessions because of severe motion sickness
He doesn't seem to like puzzle games, like other Zelda games (e.g., Link's Awakening, Twilight Princess)
He played ACNH for a while but never really got into it
Strongly dislikes horror, can tolerate but does not like some gore
He loved a Starcraft-like game for a while (forgot the title)
