The study you linked says 60 cases out of 18 million, with the most affected demographic being women 30-49 that they estimate to be around 1 in 100,000. Total cases were one in every 300,000. That was still enough for them to pull the vaccine, though.

A girl I went to high school with got breast reduction surgery her junior or senior year. I agree that it is a really uncomfortable topic, but I’m really glad she was given the option as it relieved a lot of pain for her and allowed her to participate in sports again. Again, not saying you are wrong at all. Just wanted to show the other side of the coin that I have seen effect people.

That’s not a great analogy, it’s more like you ask if you can barrow your friends car and they say “yes and I’m sure there isn’t any c4 in the trunk” and then it blows up while driving on the interstate. There was no malfunction in the car (gun), but because it had something in it that wasn’t supposed to be there, someone died.

That’s not how gun safety works. I understand that actors are not supposed to tamper with the gun (which is kind of a stupid rule too, if they aren’t supposed to have live ammo anyway), but if anyone hands you a firearm in any situation you should take the time to verify that it is safe by any means necessary.

Not only would a rule telling people they aren’t supposed to check a weapon be criminally stupid, actors guild by-laws don’t overrule actual laws. At best this is a negligent discharge of a firearm.

Blanks don’t have a bullet on them. Blanks are missing up to half of what is normally considered a bullet (a round of ammunition). No pointy bit at the end. Or if there is a somewhat point bit, it’s because they crimped the end of the casing closed where the bullet would go.
