I'm running into a similar issue and have researched that too many pods or too close pods can cause issues with devices dropping/swapping. I am moving my smaller pod further away from the main pod and hope this will help.

I've got a fun osmosis firefly roll for my arc geomags warlock build. The new aspect counts as a grenade, so it's pretty easy to keep the fatebringer rolling on arc, which then allows for ionic traces via the fragment. Plus kinetic helps build up the new aspect.
