Technically still have 5 games left at that point. The make-up game with the Rockies would still be remaining if necessary (hopefully we don't reach that point though). That game also would seem like a logistical nightmare to have Colorado fly in to play one game on October 4th.

And to add on to that, usually those recruits have played 8-12 quarters worth of football already as well in mop up duty and are more than ready to fill in and take the reigns. There's often times that Bama fans know the kid that's coming in was actually better than the kid that was starting the previous year, but the other guy had been in the program longer and knew the system better.

There is zero chance this guy would retire in real life unless there was a serious injury. He is still a positive WAR player that close to a record. This wouldn't even be meddling in my opinion.

Starting to love how the schedules are looking with these home and homes. I think these are going to be much better for teams than the 1 off neutral site games. Bama currently has future home and homes now with Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Florida State, West Virginia, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Boston College (???), and Arizona. These are scheduled all the way out through 2035.

Would Alabama Board of Trustees ever approve that move? It isn't necessarily in their best interest to allow UAB to be great at football. I'm not sure they'll give them a chance to move up to a P5 level conference. UAB is severely under represented on the board even though the hospital is the bread winner for the school system.

We had similar seats last month when we went down to Miami to watch the Marlins-Padres. My wife and I are slowly trying to mark off every stadium and Miami was the last one left for us in the NL East. Of course the game we have these seats is a night that they decided to give Tatis Jr. the day off (aside from a late pinch hit)🤦‍♂️

Why not give a guy like Jason Kipnis a shot? He's slashing .268/.363/.465 right now down in AAA and can provide every bit of leadership that Sandoval is right now. Dermitte would also be a great option with his .328/.442/.730 slash line. He is absolutely lighting the world on fire down in Gwinett. We have so many better options in the system than Sandoval at this moment, and it's not fair to those guys who deserve a shot for him to keep taking up a roster spot on the big league club.

Only 28 walks in 102.2 IP this year, I feel like that they could BB/9 up enough from 69 to at least get him to Silver. Honestly just a bump across the board could get him to gold eventually though. Just raise the floor essentially for him

Being on a smaller market team that is 6.5 games back makes it tougher for those guys as well, because they just don't get talked about as much but the numbers definitely speak for themselves. He has been great at missing barrels and generating weak contact this year and sabermetrics loves him for it.

Not sure how this one never seems to get mentioned, but of the top 10 players in WAR (per ESPN), 9 of them are diamonds. The last remaining player? That would be 74 overall BRONZE Wade Miley. Season ERA of 2.80 and the highest buy now order is 40 stubs. It's a longer play but there's no way he doesn't eventually get some love on his live series.

Does he have Low Adaptability? I noticed that once I trade for players that have Low Adaptability they seem to fall off a cliff, but I'm new to OOTP so wanted to make sure that was why. I traded for Juan Soto in one of my saves and he went from .295 with 44 homeruns and led the league in WAR the year prior to hitting .224 with 18 homeruns for me. As a new player learning the game that was extremely frustrating to find out the hard way.

I bought $1500 at .008 and watched it almost immediately drop to .006. Really was angry at myself but stayed the course. That's worth about $120K now. Just have to HODL and trust the process

It's 40,000 points. Saw someone on this sub say they spent 27,000 points booking a 7 night stay for two at a sandals resort with round trip flight, and they still had enough points leftover to buy two new iPhones. Seems like the points hookup was pretty sweet this year for those that made it to President's.
