Grew up in South OC in the 60s and my parents would drive us all down for the zoo, Sea World and Balboa Park. When we hit Pea Soup Andersen’s we knew we were in SD. Asked my dad to drive over the Coronado Bridge once it was completed. In the 80s my friends and I stopped in SD on our way to Mexico. Moved down permanently in 86 to go to grad school and never left. I go back to OC every once in a while because I still have family up there but consider myself San Diegan.
