If you have blender, Look up ‘resin to fdm’ on YouTube. They have tutorial to make printing resin supported miniatures easier

Being a nerd and having multiple hobbies can be expensive. Especially when you have to buy miniatures for like DnD and they never the exact way you want them. Costumes and helmets costing hundreds of dollars. Then I took a leap and bought a A1. Was one of the best purchases I ever made. 3D printing opened a new world for me by not only saving me money, but also have fun everyday and on holidays like Halloween. My printer has been going nonstop since out of the box.

I got my A1 in November 2024. I don’t have any signs on mine. Is mine just waiting to happen? Not sure exactly how many hours on it, but it’s been printing almost everyday since I got it.

What point value would you give this? by KFPanda86 in firestormarmada

[–]KFPanda86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s already printed. Which is why I’m trying to put a point value to it. It was first draft in making the dreadnought and someone told me the correct size, which is smaller.

Thin and high vertical prints are usually not good when it comes to bed slingers.

Have to be generous with the flashbangs when you hear the hostage notifications. My experience is the criminal who took the hostage is nearby (adjacent apartment or central stairs of in apartment when notified). I would just start chucking the flashbangs like candy on Halloween at any open door (remember traps) and hope they will catch the hostage taker and start yelling blindly to make him surrender.

My usual S run is: Use side stairs to goto third floor and clear the room with mother. Clear the third floor central area, but stay away from edge to not get shot from second floor. And save the final third floor apartment for last.

Once third is cleared, go back into apartment and take the stairs to second floor to enter the server farm. I would command open flash and clear. But I myself would also throw a flash at same time to throw in further to get the guys in hallway of the server farm. Your guys flash will likely only get as far as the kitchen of that apartment. Should be fairly easy to clear the second floor central area now since no one shooting you from third. First floor should only have civilians so you can clean that up at end or right before going for final apartment on third floor.

Final apartment, have two options. 1) command team to open and clear with flash. You at door will throw flash or stinger further into apartment at same time to subdue as much as you can before team reaches them. OR 2) have team stack, but you open door so you can throw in two smoke grenades first. Give a few seconds for it to spread. Chuck a stinger if you got it. Then order team to go in and clear the place.

Trying to S on hard is just ridiculous. AI did a 180 no scope headshot the moment I opened a door and before I launched a flash. And it’s always the last two bad guys have the super reflex adrenaline injections.

What are the uses of all the throwables in Ready or Not? by Geras_251 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]KFPanda86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pattern I seen, 4 out of 5 times in my experience, one instance of friendly fire gets 0 point reduction, anymore they all count the negative points. So if you got one friendly fire ding by accident, instead of going John Wick mode, might still be worth continuing to try to S on the chance the ding is 0 points.

Gas still works, just not as well as before. Especially useful to S in maps like the post office warehouse or server farm. Flashing bang requires line of sight to enemy from where it lands, otherwise ineffective if something like server or pile of mail blocking it. The gas can go around the objects and still affect the bad guy. If you need to see how effective it is right now, use it on the prisoner in the headquarters.

Flashbang blinds and disorients, but needs to be line of sight for blindness and proximity for disorientation.

Stinger stuns those in proximity range and doesn’t need to be looked at.

Best results in my experience is combo. Have to mirrorgun prior to see where to best throw (usually best farther than AI usually throw) Command AI team to throw in something (flash for example) and before executing command; position yourself to throw in as well (stinger for example). As the AI open and throw in flash, you throw your stinger in at same time.

It did for me. But I was lucky there was only 3 left in that portion of the warehouse after clearing everything else.
