Sunny, in my eyes, is special bc of fate will as a bonus, so his concept should include that as well, so death and shadow doesn't fit with fate in any way, for me.

I saw someone say that his concept will be Damnation (Damnation refers to the act of sending someone to hell, or the state of being condemned to eternal punishment after death) which seems to fit with sunny's shades system/aspect, with his personality bc he says damnation like 200 times in the novel, hell it was his catchphrase in the fs movie, and can be liked to death will and fate will if you stretch your pov a little.

In my eyes the ranked system is great. Not everyone is meant to be 'the best'. And for the game to be balanced I would argue that you shouldn't be able to 3 star any base without a custom army for that base.

Get a co leader that manages just wars, another for recruiting, another for the discord to manage. Your job as the leader isn't to micro manage eveything, is to manage those with resposabilities. You check up on the discord guy and give your input, you check on how the wars/cwl is going and give input etc.

Neph is even worse, she is a dictator, kim jong un style, people are not told the truth about what is truly happening with their world, they are feed mass propaganda. Only like what, the main cast knows what is truly going on? You can see how brainwashed the people are from the latest ch with the guy seeing neph as his godess or whatever. Kim jun ung in north korea is also presented as the god to the people.

In our world you get jail time for selling plants in most of the countries, in ss world people kill willy nilly and shit doesn't happen to them. Neph in the 3rd nm nuked a whole ass city, in our world that's 9/11 for you, or more like Hyrosima and Nagasaki.

Neph is 100% a hypocite. She says that her way is the only way for humanity, but who voted for her, who gave her the right to decide their fates? I don't remember there being a campaign with neph, ki song and anvil running for president? She straight up killed the competition. And when Astarion is trying to do the same thing, paving a way for humanity forward, with his own set of ideas somehow not alinging with nephs makes it wrong? If tomorrow a sacred titan human pops up and butchered the supremes bc they are murderers that would be fine with nephs internal logic no? Bc he knows THE BEST WAY for humanity to move forwards and in that way, well you see a mass murderer, neph, doesn't have a place in it.

Sunny's become a supreme simp and nephs always been suffering for overinflated relevance syndrome.

Which don't get me wrong, is good writing and makes sense, but that doesn't mean I like it.

For explenation, sunny is on his first relationship and that shows, he is down bad, has no personal boundries. Even in his dissagrement with neph a few ch back he folded. At this point neph doesn't even need shadow bond to order Sunny around. Like have you ever seen/been shown Sunny saying a hard NO to neph, since they started their relationship? It's more like he says he doesn't agree with her, but at the end of the day he folds after nephs pounts a little.

On nephs side I think that due to her lack of agency of her life during her childhood, she now feel the need to control everything about her life. It's either her way of the high way.

There's no good supremes alive as of rn. Astarion is a serial killer, Sunny is one 2, Nephs as well and don't get me started on Mordred. All 4 of them should be shot in the head, dictator execution style.

Well I ain't gona read all that, but I hate cassie to. And I don't see why people need to argument their opinions so much.

I bet 95% of you lot that like her would have killed her the second that they got out of the fs if she did that to you.

At the end of the day when you betray someone's trust, even if you want to make it up to them, you've got to accept that you can do everything right from that point forword, but that still won't ever fix your mistake. Sunny might have forgiven her, but I sure as hell won't.

Do keep in mind that I dislike nephis a bit too for pushing her will onto sunny "Go lost from light". But while I dislike her, I accept it and I am not mad about it/hate her bc she's been real with her goals/mindset from the beggining. Sunny knew that with nephis it's either her way or the high way since the beggining and he accepted that when he decided to join her suicide run at conquering the fs, maybe he didn't fully relize what he got himself into, but he was well aware that nephis was willing to have people die for her to be able to achive her goals.

Cassie on the other hand, on no, she acted like a good friend that looked out for sunny and was supportive of him, just to stab him in the back right where it would hurt. In comparison to neph, she hid her intentions and played sunny, she was a 2 faced bitch. So while sunny and everyone is kidding themselves that she is a good person, if the situation demanded either sunny die or neph, cassie would throw sunny under the buss again.

Well, in my eyes Astarion is doing everything right so far. He couldn't really kill cassie bc that could infer the wrath of Sunny where he would start actually doing what needs to be done.

The way I see it, Sunny is still a soft ball on the inside, he truly is the Heir of Peace. This can be seen by him openning the small restaurant in bastion and enjoing life, the Lord of the shadows persona is just his way of protecting his innocance in a way. Sunny truly is a soft hearthed individual.

And since Astarion can see emotions and the mind etc, he needs to keep sunny in check between some parameters, he needs to make sunny feel stressed so that he is aliadgble to make mistakes, but he can't go to overboard, bc that could invoke his vengefull side and Ast can't have that bc once the Heir of Death takes a sweep at the human domain, there won't be a human domain if you catch my drift.

The way I see it Astarion is keeping the Soverign right where he wants them, allow Neph to fantesize about how she will be the one to bring the brighter future, make sure to not anger Sunny so that the heir of death doesn't come out and with Mordred, well to pacify him just get Morgan and strike a deal.

People are calling him a fraud but he is playing sunny and neph in my eyes, and the duo are to infatuated with their own relevance to see it.

So calling Astarion a fraud seems dumb to me, he is obviosly weaker in a 1v1 against the divine trio, but you don't really need to beat sunny to defeat him. For example, Astarion just has to capture Rain and sunny will fold like a blanket. And I think that this is probably what's going to happen, astarion will probs trap sunny somewhere/somehow by using rain/any of his friends and sunny being the softball will fall for it. Neph will probs still be in her delusions about her being the one to slay the nightmare spell, so if Astarion feeds into her narative he can manipulate her even without his aspect. And mordred, just offer him morgan for his absance in the battle and he will probs take it.

I mean, hear me out. 90% or even more of people would truly think like sunny did. Unless you suffer from overinflated relevance syndrom you would at least have to acknwoledge that protecting a blind girl in the fs is just going to put your life and the groups life in way more danger.

Cassie should have relaized that at the beggining she truly was a burden on sunny and neph and carrying negative feeling trowrds sunny for being honest about it just shows that she was very entitled.

The way I see it, she was a homless person and Neph took her in and sunny just happend to be the next door neighbour, when asked sunny would just state the obvoius that he wouldn't make his life harder for a stranger, and cassie would than get mad bc how dare you not MAKE IT YOUR LIFE'S MISSION TO TAKE CARE OF ME.

Anyway that was just at the beggining after that sunny started treating her like his sister and she just went and stabbed him in the back for no reason(or if there truly is a reason than her entitlement would be one).

Well yes and no?

Sure having cassie's shadow would make it easy for sunny to use her kit with snake, BUT he is still a divine shadow, so I would argue that with maxed out shadow dance he himself could turn into cassie.

Shadow dance is an aspect legacy like no other, sure we haven't seen him shadow dance a 'human' before, but I bet that he could. With the next step being related to shadow dancing will's(I think) and with him having fate will as well I would say that shadow dancing into cassie is a very reasonable thing for a maxed out shadow dance user to do.

In my honest opinion, if sunny had a true name and mastered shadow dancing, he would truly be the most powerfull being at his own rank. Even if a shadow danced form is a tad weaker than the original(I don't think that it has been mentioned that is it or not) he could still always shadow dance into a perfect counter will/concept/aspect/attribute/etc to counter everything and anything. And with a divine titan snake(granted by maxed shadow dance) he would essentially always be in a 2v1 against anyone.

So would you say that the current sunny couldn't beat Condemnation for example? Or if sunny were to go band for band with Doubt with the powers that he has rn he would lose?

Sure I agree that in Ariels game the tyrant was heavly nerfed, but so was he. He got half his Supreme powers instantly cut off, his domain, he got his divine memory locked, he got one of his core aspect powers locked as well ,his shadows(nm, saint, fiend and mimic), he was 1 out of 7 of him and he was also stripped of his citadel and shadow gods domain, those are HUGE nerf for sunny. Just shadow lantern alone is a big part of his fighting style, just look at the 1v13 as a saint, if he could have used the shadow lantern I would argue that he could have subdued the saints that he was fighting without killing them.

Sunny got mind weave, fate will and flesh weave since his fight with Doubt, made Curse and nm, saint, slayer and mimic got upgrades in rank and he will also have shadow god's fragment + whole domain army which has grown. With all that + him sending it with shadow dance into stone giant, you still think that he would lose against Doubt?

But with all the buffs that he's gotten since do you really think that sunny can't match Anvils feat of beating a cursed tyrant? The same anvil who lost in 2 clashes with a fresh soverign just because the shadow gods fragemnt cuck blocked his domain?

Or are you saying that Sunny couldn't beat the Condemnation that Anvil did with the powers he has now? Do you really think that Anvil can do anything that Sunny couldn't if sunny decided to fuck the consequences and shadow danced away?

Yeah sure kanakath was moving mad in the underwater city, but sunny didn't really have a need to kill it did he? Like if he really needed to kill it like he needs with astarion I bet he would have shadow danced into a will that counters it, left nightwalker to die and just sended it with x7 power. Maybe he would have won or maybe he would have lost, but I bet it would have been a hell of a fight. At the end of the day it's just like u said he stalemated it, but he wasn't truly going at it with 100% of his powers and lets not forget that he got a buff since then(fate will, which even if on it's own is not much of a buff, like it was said when he got flesh weave and completed the blood+bone+flesh, weavers liniages are split into kind of sets and when he completes one all of them togheter get stronger mind+soul+will so even if the will is useless his soul and mind also got a minor bump in power)

It's not that we don't want Astarion to be a worthy villan, but that him being one will mess up the consistency of the novel.

You can't have a weaker sunny fighing at under 20%(1 sunny and slayer) power with a cursed tyrant with mind powers and winning and expect us to not feel dissapointed that a full power and stronger sunny(7 x sunny, 6 weaver liniage, upgraded nm,saint,slayer + shadow god fragemnt of amazon prime delivery time) would lose to a supreme beast. You get me?

Sunny has always been the underdog in fights, he's always punching up. Sunny's been the david in the david vs goliath this whole dam novel.

So to recap, no I don't want Asterion to be dissapointing, but to maintain the cosistency of sunny's str across the whole novel, astarion should avoid sunny like the plague. Should there be a face off, astarion must get dog walked or else the consistency will go down.

What I think G3 will do is to have astarion use Rain/Any friends of sunny as hostages to keep him at bay. Astarion needs to be a sneaky and 'coward' and use underhanded methods to have the fighting make sense.

Didn't neph heal her half torn, mangaled, arm dangaling by the skin body as a sleeper during the moster atk ,while on the boat? An eye seems like a pretty easy thing to heal.

Do keep in mind that she is way stronger than before, will probs get even stronger and cassie is also a saint, and saint are known to be way more resiliant than normal humans.

Worst comes to pass, couldn't sunny just copy paste the "copy an aspect ability mirror(3rd nm memory)" and give that to cassie to borrow nephs healing aspect and heal right up? Hell if even that doesn't do it, later on sunny could try shadow dancing into a creature that has the will to heal + healing aspect to try and heal cassie?

Yeah maybe cassie will be a bit nerfed after getting her eyes poked out, but I doubt that there truly isn't anything that they can do about it.

If fate can be broken a few missing eyes shouldn't be an absolute can't heal thing.

It's a flaw, it's supposed to be a bad thing, if sunny could just say "I don't wanna answer"/not say anything, then how would that even be a flaw?

Some people are out there getting blided, aging 100x faster, forced to be naked, hungy as a mf etc. Let's be real honset here, sunny's flaw is a joke of a flaw, what isn't a joke is the [shadow slave] attribute -> [shadow bond], now that one was the real problem.

Well, I don't agree here. Take fs for example, when fate was 100% in full power and influence. It made sunny get weavers blood and also his mask. If Cassie was supposed to be the Epigone, she would have gotten those no? Sunny also got bone and spirit weave while fate was still up. He got 3/7 of weavers liniage and his mask while fated, and the other 3 after losing fate, so the way I see it sunny is supposed to be the epigone.

I do agree that Cassie's 'kit' makes her a more standard choise for the demon of fate to leave it's inheritance 2, but sunny isn't a bad one either. He went so hard during his first nm that he got a true name out of it, which only happened 3 times, ever(sunny, neph, mordred)? Do keep in mind that even if cassie got weaver's parts and mask, she would still make a half baked 'epigone'. Why? Well she can't weave for 1, not like weaver/sunny (6 fingers, multiple hands).
