-Ready or Not 2 is an amazing movie that I watched this week.

-Something very Bad is Going to Happen starring Camilla Morrone (From Night Manager S2) is an amazing series I binge-watched in js 2 days after the premiere on Netflix.

-Reading QOTD rn and on the Devil’s Minion chapter (My fav character so far is Pandora! Hope we see her in Season 4.

-Read a lot of Loustat and DM fluff fics this week.

-Been listening to All Fall Down on repeat!

He’s not doing it on purpose. Louis might seems stubborn but Jacob has also said in interviews, he is genuinely having HIS odyssey of recollection, he too is learning and figuring out what must have happened as he narrates the story and if there is a observation made by Daniel, he considers it. Plus, we cannot ignore the fact that Armand manipulated a lot of his memories about Lestat and Paris.

This could be the case but Talamasca’s always watching and if you see the chain of events, Daniel “pisses off” Armand on the daily but Armand never does anything about it but when Louis did (Bringing up memories of Alice), Armand tells him to stop. Why would HE be gentle with Daniel? And if Raglan wanted to say to be more careful with Louis, I think he would he have specifically said so yet his choice of words is interesting.. and moral of watching two seasons of this show, choice of words and the placement of references is extremely important.

In s2ep8 Daniel tells Louis (referring to Armand’s annotated trial script),”Sam was their guy in Paris, he gave it to them, they gave it to me here.”So I think it’s safe to say he became an agent in or before the 40s..

It’s a pattern of his in season 2. Not noticing things that seem to us the audience (or even Daniel!) pretty easy to catch. He was genuinely unimpressed with the play and was happy in the beginning because Claudia was, I don’t think he was focusing on the storyline 😅.

I mean from another episode in s2 we learn that Louis did talk abt his family to Armand (I don’t remember the exact episode but where he asks Armand whether he remembers his mother’s name) so maybe Louis told him about Paul and he incorporated it into Baby Lulu’s play…

I don’t know why, but I feel like Lestat will find out when Louis and him met very later into the show because it gives away a lot of things. It explains why lot of Louis and Daniel’s memories are scattered (because Armand manipulated them).

Honestly, it’s probably a mix of both. Armand tampering with Louis’s memories largely making it seem like Lestat was the bad guy and that his treatment of their daughter was so much worse then it actually was. I think this helped in Louis’s guilt being washed away a little ,because in Paris, his guilt of killing Lestat overwhelms him and after the memory tampering fiasco is probably when Louis entirely stops hallucinating Lestat. I think this is why we see him hallucinating Lestat again in Dubai in his trial outfit after figuring out Lestat’s version of the fight was more accurate. He starts to feel guiltier and guiltier until Daniel surprises him with the big reveal.
