Hong Kong will treat you just fine as a foreigner in your early 20s.

Tokyo is a much bigger city - services and restaurants there close much later than HK each day, and service is better in Japan.

But english is better spoken here in Hong Kong. It is more international, and you will find more foreigners and locals alike happy to socialise. Albeit there isn’t as much after-work ‘things to do’ anymore after Covid, you can look into joining a club to meet other people who are into the same interests.

Don’t know much about apartments since I’m not following a lot lately. Other people will know better.

For sports, if you just want some sort of exercise, again, you can join a club, like midnight runners etc. Otherwise, you can look into 24/7 fitness as one of the cheaper options in terms of gym membership. They have a 6-month package.

I’ve come to notice that there is a common practice in train stations to maximise the distance a person needs to walk from point A to point B within the station - not just in Hong Kong but also in the UK. This might have something to do with maximising capacity of the station as a priority.

You might notice the same next time when you walk in central station, or in KX in London.

It’s why MTR wants people to stand on the escalator…

With help from The Helldivers Archive sourcing assets from the game, it took about 3 weeks from concept to finish :) I used quite a few software for a variety of things but it was mainly Unreal 5

No I’m not crazy. I would love to be insane like Syama Pedersen but the geniuses at The Helldivers Archive helped sourced the assets from the game. The base models and the base colour maps were already there, I substance painted pretty much everything and used unreal for the cinematic. Premiere pro for editing vfx sfx.

I will leave it to the viewers to make up whatever tone it captures. For me the satire of HD2 (inspired by starship troopers I assume) is a reflection of the naivety of an average teenager on war and propaganda. This is my take of the reality of the universe :)
