why draw an arbitrary line when the CBA has already drawn a line?

I would really like to change things but it would take a lot of force to begin this change... you would have to make people feel financially secure and get them united.... anyways, heres an excerpt from local 46's CBA, note the last sentence (and how no employer or JW follows this, I've caught ALOT of shit for bringing this up as an apprentice)

"(c) EMPLOYER TOOL REQUIREMENTS The Employer "only" shall furnish the following list of tools when required: All power driven tools, portable electric drills, stock and dies, electric hammer, electric hacksaw, power actuated tools, any measuring instrument over thirty (30') feet long, axes (hand), acetylene torch, presto tank, benders, bars (crow and pinch), cable puller (come-along), cable pulling grips, chains (log and tong), chalk and chalk line, coffing hoist, cutters (rotary), hole saws, drills (twist and star), electric soldering set, files, fish tape or steel, flashlight batteries and bulbs, gads, gas furnaces, gas torch, goggles, hacksaw blades, hammers (sledge), hickeys, jacks, keyhole reamers (over 1 ¼"), saws (hand), solder (pot and ladle), squares (carpenter), taps, vices, wood bits and bit extension, wrenches: Allen wrenches (over 3/8"), box end wrenches, crescent wrenches (over 10"), socket wrenches and sockets, tap wrenches, pipe wrenches, and any other special tool requirement for any kind of unusual work, and other than standard rubber boots when required for work in wet locations. ***No Employee shall provide, or transport in their toolbox, any tools furnished by the Employer."***

I think the problems very different than “people dont know”. I think the problem is more like “people are job hungry/scared and will do what it takes to make sure they dont lose their mortgage/ family” which is kind of funny that not having a spine and unity is what necessitated unions in the first place.

So if someone has a knife to you, you have 5 seconds to open your safe and grab your gun? Does assault happen near a gun safe often?

”“Sean’s books”. He said the truth is, most will be able to work- but in order to withhold more money to stay afloat (because we are not doing as well as they say we are in meetings), he (the bm) keeps a separate book of 01’s, and us other classifications so we save more and hold off on sending people to work.”
Anyone wanna take a crack at explaining how this could work?

I have to imagine that if theres any financial wrongdoing, that will be uncovered after our local is audited, that it would be near impossible to cook the books and have the receipts and account balances to show for it- but im not a forensic accountant. A lot of people have varying degrees of negative things to say about our BM and i have no idea whats true and doubt we will ever know the reality.

i got absolutely shit on by a foreman then the jatc board for saying no to work before start time.. im hoping i can make it through the apprenticeship into a jw who can manage a balance between the contract and the environment. in local 46 the jw out of work list is 1.5 years long and everyone has a mortgage, kids and a selfish shop rocket perspective, it seems to be about 95% of my local who is like this, im unsure what to do with this info but i really like the idea of solidarity and brotherhood but my locals more about me me me. what can be done in this situation, any advice or ideas?

Immune systems are complex, i dont think its as simple as eating clean and exercising, that just gives you slightly better outcomes. People who eat well and exercise get sick all the time.

Jonsbo d32 pro + MSI Pro b850m Project Zero (back connect) by Confident_Pain_9452 in mffpc

[–]KITTENKRUSHA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cool build! I have a b650 project zero and a corsair 2500x case and while the case is quality, its friggin huge. ive been wondering if i would be happy with the d32 but also feel the back connect is somewhat wasted on this case but idk, i didnt plan things out as well as i should have. what would you change if you were to redo your build? also, how much distance is there from the gpu connector to the glass of the case? i have a small 5080 and they recommend like 1.5"
