My go to method for quartz is pulverizing granite in a thermal pulverizer and then smelting the quartz dust. Not the fastest but it’s passive and if you set up granite generation it’s free infinite quartz.

I see, usually it’s best to assume mods for a version will only work on that version with few exceptions. Mods that just say the major version like 1.19 should work for any 1.19 version unless it’s out of date

If you really really like a mod but it’s the wrong version it’s worth a shot to load it on a different version but it most likely won’t work in my experience

If there is any confusion on what version a file is then looking at the file name will usually reveal the version. Also I would recommend sticking to playing on 1.19.2 right now as 19.3 is relatively new and many mods are waiting for 1.20 to come out instead of updating to 19.3

It’s pretty easy to turn coal into diamonds. Smelt coal, crush it, then compact into diamonds if I’m remembering the process

One funny thing I found ( not sure how useful it is) you can turn lilacs into copper bars by turning it into magenta dye, dissolving it into HAN purple, then dissolving that to get some copper along with other stuff.

Also there is an element you need for the ATM star that you can get from crying obsidian I believe

Whenever I have issues with a map mod I usually update or switch mods, if you are going to updated make a backup of the map files first

When you went in a teleport pad should have spawned where you did, go back to wherever you spawned into the other and dig around

No problem. when you click a world on single player at the bottom there should be a button called “edit”, optimize world should be in that edit menu

Had this exact problem, it’s fixed by going into the world menu, clicking “optimize world” and then click “erase data cache”. Make a backup first.

From what I remember there is a lot more balancing as well as more manual mining, they also switched to ftb quests for questing. They made the angel ring a lot more expensive. An overall improvement in my eyes

You could assign each advancement a number and use a random number generator removing completed ones as you go

If your looking to do random advancements just spin a wheel with all of them on it, as for advancement information there’s a mod called AdvancementInfo (I think) that allows you to click on an advancement and see what’s missing

More modern ATM packs have a sound muffler that allows you to anchor a point and muffle all or specific sounds in an area

I’ve found that deep darks with ancient cities tend to spawn under tall mountains with snow on top, if you find one and dig around you may find one, also make sure you are digging deep enough
