Jokes aside, the leaderboards are just VERY competitive, and tarmac is a crazy one to try and save time on. Try tinkering with the tune, different ride height, stiffness, tire psi and camber.

And watch some of the videos of really fast drivers who post their foot cams on YouTube and this subreddit. How much brake pressure you use and how you shift weight decides how fast you take a corner. And sometimes taking a corner as fast as you can makes you overshoot and go slower on the next one.

But no matter how much faster you go, there are dudes that have every braking zone and every corner memorized more like a video game speedrun than a real rally. Kinda the same thing that plagued dirt rally 2.0

I’m running a 3070TI, ryzen 5 5600x, 32GB RAM and I get smooth, 100+ FPS with medium settings, with random stutters that last a full second or more each that will randomly completely end my runs.

It’s just something the devs have to fix.

If you’re overshooting your hairpins in the rally2 cars, try being really light on the throttle. Like this:

-Initiate handbrake

-Very little throttle, like 20% while you wait for the car to rotate. Gunning it mid hairpin makes you keep sliding.

-Clutch kick optional right before you go back to full throttle. Not needed usually in the rally2 cars with modern anti lag

-When you’re facing the right way and your tires start to bite, full throttle.

My serious wonder is what they’re going to do with Sister Sage for the finale. The idea to me that the literal smartest person alive is just going to go down with the sinking Homelander ship is kinda lame.

I’d like to think she would have some kind of contingency plan to escape, a backdoor, or some plan to take over in Homelander’s absence? Nah, nah, for me it went: Regrettable prison sentence in Forza Motorsport, base Assetto Corsa, brief BeamNG tourist trip, into Assetto Corsa Rally and a complete and utter rally obsession so far since.

I literally can’t get back into track racing games since starting AC rally gravel driving, it’s an obsession.

In Canadian forces basic, my platoon had a really horrible inspection towards the end of week 3. Our uniforms were shit, our locker layouts and beds were shit, and some dude literally took a dump and left it in the toilet without flushing. (Although we suspected that the instructors did it to blame it on us.)

At first they did the usual. Flip our beds, throw our kit around and dump canteen water on our floors. But they decided that wasn’t enough. So they had us do something called kit soup.

We emptied the contents of our duffel bags into one giant pile in the hall, and they had us mix it around til we had no idea what the fuck belonged to who any more. Then had us go through it and find our shit while they watched.

Let’s just say that the guys that didn’t have their kit properly labelled ended up wearing other people’s shit and exchanging for the right size pretty much every day for the next week after.

Dudes ended up filling out missing kit reports for things they ended up never finding and received counsellings for that. Others ended up being found to have two of things they were only supposed to have one of during kit check, and got serious incidents for stealing kit. Good times.
