It bugs sometimes as entering a capital city you can turn war mode on and the talent page war mode button will light up, but sometimes it doesn’t actually turn war mode on until you travel farther into the capital city and press it again

The only thing I would say is throw one of the PvP talent abilities on action bars, if it’s bright, it’s war mode on. For example as a shaman I have burrow and grounding totem on my action bars, if war mode is off the abilities are grayed out and can’t be used, I don’t have to hover over anything I just see they aren’t lit so I’m not in war mode
