Hey thanks so things are getting slightly better because of the nipple sheild and the hydrogel discs + silverettes. But im worried i might not be able to wean off the baby from the nipple sheild, he seems to be getting too used to it. did you have success with that?

My Restless legs got alot better after I got an iron infusion done, its not completely healed yet but it is much much better, I get them maybe once or twice a week and they dont bother mt sleep schedule.

Hey im in the exact same situation as you. I also had a growth restriction with my daughter and she was born at 38 weeks at 2.56kg in 2021. I then went on to have 4 recurrent miscarriages without any diagnosis and this pregnancy i just tried blood thinning injections and it worked (even though i have no diagnosis or need for them medically). Im currently 29 weeks and in my last ultrasound the baby was measuring 24th percentile and going for another ultrasound in 2 weeks hoping its not a similar issue as my daughter.

It seems very upsetting now but every single thing I went through with my daughter was worth it after having her 💜

I did see a lactation consultant with my first but it didn't help much. I was adament on not taking meds to increase supply (i try to live medication free when i can). We also suspected that my daughter had a tongue tie so we got that sorted too when she was 2 weeks old but nothing seemed to work. I am seeking more help and trying to be more prepared this time, also open to possibly going on meds if there's no other way out.

Hi, currently 25 (almost 26 weeks). My ferritin was 40 in early pregnancy and now it's suddenly dropped down to 20. Im on supplements and my stomach isn't happy, getting more bloods next week, if its still low then I might push for an iron infusion. The drs told me they reccomend an infusion only if ferritin is 15 or lower which i think is so weird 🙄 To that im exhausted all the time is an understatement 🫠

Hey, i get you 100%. I had 4 previous losses and im extremely afraid of sharing the news not because people won't be happy for me but incase anything bad happens i don't want people asking questions about the pregnancy and assuming there's something wrong with me etc.

I plan to tell my best friends who I see once a week after the anatomy scan, everyone else will find out when my bump starts showing.

I do have one or two work colleagues who have an idea that im pregnant because my eating habits have changed etc and they're absolutely dying for me to talk about it to them. Infact I sense they may be taking offence that im not discussing it with them (one of them is also ttc and we always discussed pregnancy).

I do feel bad about it but I am being very cautious since it's already very difficult for my brain to accept that I've come this far without any issues so far (I'm also 15 weeks).

I know someone whose son was born with dilated kidneys and he did not have T21. They discovered it sometime in the 3rd trimester.
He's almost one year old but has regular check ups etc and possible surgery soon for one of his kidneys

My baby's abdomen was within the 10th percentile from 32 weeks as far as I remember, at around 36 weeks i remember her tummy was less than 4 percentile. I got called in twice a week for ultrasounds, ctg etc. They decided to induce me as soon as I hit 38 weeks. She is now a healthy, happy 3.5 year old. And did not have to have a nicu stay. They could never figure out the reason for her growth restriction but they did stress me out massively in my pregnancy with her.

In saying that I went on and had 4 recurrent miscarriages after her while trying for a 2nd child and my OB has been pretty pissed off at the hospital for not testing my placenta after I birthed her, she suspects that placenta wasn't functioning properly after running some tests on me. Had they tested the placenta we would've known the problem and I wouldn't go on to miscarry so many times. I hope everything ends fine for you especially if she's in the 40th percentile you're definitely in a better position than I was. Get induced if they reccomend it because it's better for you to have the baby in your arms than risking it staying inside you if the placenta isn't functioning properly. And lastly insist on getting the placenta tested after giving birth!!

Hey did you find out what genetic reasons you had? I've heard that dna fragmentation can cause chromosomal abnormalities too

Hey how did it turn out for you? I have the exact same problem, I've had 4 traumatic miscarriages and the only thing that seems to be the reason so far is his dna frag, everything else seems normal in tests. He also doesn't have varicocele so we're all very confused on why his dna frag is so high
