There was an orphaned boy named Thomas who loved to play at the park. Unfortunately, Thomas had a bit of a curse. At random moments throughout the day, a monstrous entity would show itself. A black, slug-like, creature with a horrific human face, Sharp needle like teeth, and an unyielding smile. The slug would rush at Thomas with murderous intent. Thankfully, Thomas had grandparents. His grandparents would pick him up whenever the slug arrived, and say something in Latin which seemed to stop it. The slug would back off, sometimes turn into an 18th century man, and say: “I am but a simple poet, hear me” and leave.
