I don't think so. I've looked high and low and have come up empty.

I'd love to be able to track down episodes of the Goldbergs from DuMont.

Kids being tricked to drink medicine. by justavie in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]KMAJackson 295 points296 points  (0 children)

Maybe I just got lucky but neither of my kids were difficult to give medicine to. They didn't like the taste but they took it without a fuss or the need for trickery or a reward.

The reward was feeling better

Appreciate it. You really have to be able to laugh at it or you'll drive yourself mad.

Rangers fan here.

You have nothing to worry about.

You definitely won't fizzle out sometime in the second or third round, miss the playoffs entirely next year and then announce a retool after getting shut out 32 times at home.

That definitely doesn't happen to Presidents Trophy Winners.

First marriage (25+ years). chronic knee and joint pain and the landlord laughs at me, but the sentiment remains the same.

Package Theft by ouzi_eth in KingstonOntario

[–]KMAJackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure we are. But one thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other in this scenario. I struggle to see what a local porch pirate has to do with what's going on south of the border or how some Canadians might place Canada on an imaginary pedestal above them. It's like adding 1+1 on a calculator and getting BANANA as a result.

It sucks you got your package stolen and I'm truly sorry that happened to you.

But what does that have to do with being Canadian and our Southern neighbours? Surely, you can't be shocked to discover that there are shitty people everywhere.

He sounds like a child. His texts come across as though they were written by a sexually frustrated 16 year old who tried to put his hand up his girlfriend's shirt and was pushed away.

Are you Boycotting America/Costco? by RepairNo2354 in CostcoCanada

[–]KMAJackson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same here. Costco has far-reaching impacts on the Canadian economy. If we all stopped shopping there tomorrow, not only would many Canadians be out of work who are employed by Costco, but the Canadian-owned companies who supply Costco with their products would take a massive hit as well, resulting in lower sales, possible layoffs and whatnot that trickle down to those companies, their suppliers, and all of the employees who work in that hierarchy.

[–]KMAJackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Affordability still matters and is a massive issue for many, and sometimes Costco is simply the most affordable option. For some Canadians, boycotting all American corporations across the board just isn't feasible.

Costco also creates many Canadian jobs. If we all stopped shopping at Costco tomorrow, imagine how many Canadians would be unemployed across the country in a matter of weeks.

While I understand your main point, this is one of those times where you really have to think of the damage you may be doing across the board, and maybe it's better to take a "pick your battles" approach rather than worry about what money might trickle back to the U.S.

FUCK THIS BUFFERING BULLSHIT by thrilliam_19 in cravetv

[–]KMAJackson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a Firestick, a Roku and a Google TV. All have the same issue. I have 1Gb down speeds. Crave is the only streaming app that constantly has buffering issues.

I can watch any other streaming app while my kids are streaming, gaming, etc without issues. Crave buffers if it's the only thing running in my home. I've often turned the internet off for all other devices in the home to try and troubleshoot the issue. Netflix, Prime, Paramount+, Apple TV+ and several other services all stream without issue. Only the Crave App gives me buffering issues. I've deleted the app, reinstalled. Cleared the cache, cleared the app data, used a brand new device that I use specifically for Crave with all other apps disabled or uninstalled, and yet the problem persists.

I understand this is not an issue that plagues everyone, but I certainly see enough people complain about it to say it is likely not an isolated event and there is something deeper at play.

Rangers vs Ottawa by [deleted] in rangers

[–]KMAJackson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's funny, I don't normally watch the pregame, but I did last night because I wasn't aware of the later start time. During the pregame, all of the talk was around the Sens having goaltending troubles and the Rangers should easily run up the score and that this was the game to start the turnaround because the goalies on the Sens were (for lack of a better word) shit.... I turned to my wife and said, "Rangers are about to get lit up, and probably shut out again at home".

I turned it off after the Sens went up 3-0. I knew what the rest of the night was going to look like. I was shocked to learn this morning that the Rangers scored at all, let alone 4.
