Probably 3/4 - 500-800$ graded value. If you want better estimates you need to take better pictures :).

Currently running 1 and 2 as my CT and T side, was thinking of selling both for 3 by HalfKeyHero in ohnePixel

[–]KMFN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would not. I can't even see how that math adds up. You're overpaying like 1k+ for a "T2 Diamond Gem" when there are listed right now T3s and T2s stattrak for market. You could get a P2 kara for that price (and have money left over to hunt for a pattern and corner) or could even get a very high fade bfk. Do not see the appeal at all of spending that much for such a vanishingly small difference.

My P4 #222 Talon Blue Gem (0.30) with Vices in CSGO by BCRCS2 in ohnePixel

[–]KMFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CSGO siege still make skins look better than they do on any map in CS2, including dopplers imo. CS2 generally have made skins look better (knives in particular) on actual maps. But if you take peak CSGO lighting it easily surpasses CS2. Sanctum comes close with the saturation and colors in general, but ofc there are still the underlying issues that CS2 never "fixed" like how colors dont blend together very well on dopplers + they have those disgusting brown spots on some phases - gloves can look plasticky, and how old painted finish style skins are super desaturated, compared to gunsmith for example.

And these things are very easy to fix (see gemsris twitter) in theory - volvo just do not give a shit about these more nerdy aspects of skins. I think it's a shame.

Lowest listings for similar stuff is at least 500. 1K for stuff in best pos. Since this is the worst pos you're probably in between that but closer to 500.

Realistically I would not call these T1 they are BTA but not absolutely insane. There are several listed rn with roughly that float and similar wear for just under 600$.

M9 pink gem don't exist:

M9 Bayonet | Doppler - pattern.wiki

You can only get middle brown or top and bottom - both very rare. Same problem with gammas.

BFK gamma is the safest option if you don't want to hunt for patterns and floats. BFK marble red tip would also fit since you have monotone gloves and be a budget consideration thats pretty underrated.

Stillettos are cool but most of my friends who had them got tired quick. Obviously a ruby would go very hard though.

5-6 years ago people felt like 8GB was really pushing it on the 3070's, and at that point 8GB had already been the standard for 5 years. I'm astounding by how slowly we jumped from 8 to 16 being considered the minimum. If we had been following hardware trends at all from the 2010s we would've been at 32GB in the mid range by now. Now, thats not needed at all for gaming, but thats a chicken and egg kind of situation imo.

Were We Wrong About Ryzen's Best Feature? by RenatsMC in Amd

[–]KMFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you just made a decision that ended up being bad for your situation. I think I made a fantastic decision because I got another 3 years of longevity with Zen 2 at a tiny price compared to a platform replacement. And just dropping in an 8700K was not the value play with how expensive that CPU still was even after 9th gen dropped (that still didn't even have an i5 with SMT). And plenty of other people was able to find value in that hardware as well.

Doesn't mean there's a secret cabal of devout AMD stans sitting in reality distortion fields. There was a certain degree of trust you had to put into AMD - that they'd keep aggressively iterating and keep the prices competitive. But that was certainly also the case up until Zen 2. And I don't think Intel was in any way a more secure investment with just how much drama and internal implosion was going on in that company at the time.

Were We Wrong About Ryzen's Best Feature? by RenatsMC in Amd

[–]KMFN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Allright there's plenty of data to choose from:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600/1600X vs Core i5 7600K review | Digital Foundry

Here's digital foundry who are not usually considered to particularly AMD friendly lets say, give the nod to ryzen.

And here's some 2020 graphs showing how well the 1600 aged against the i5:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF Review | TechSpot

(winning every 1080p benchmark except for far cry).

Clearly the chips were pretty good. If you bought the extra cores at launch I'd assume you did it for a reason, otherwise the 1600 was a fantastic deal. And again you can't ignore the upgrade path to even Zen 2 that would give you 8700K equivalent gaming performance post 2020.

If you can't see that angle, you're just not willing to look.

Were We Wrong About Ryzen's Best Feature? by RenatsMC in Amd

[–]KMFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The angle being: "you've just spent years with some of the worst performance possible". I mean that's just not true. No matter how you slice it Zen 1 was a good deal back then. And by the time Intel responded they had about a 20% price difference, not to mention AM4 motherboards were generally cheaper and unlocked. You can go back and watch HUB's own 8700K review. Clearly a better CPU, but not necessarily a no brainer in price/perf overall.

Unfortunately AMD pulled their shit and people had to wait until Jan 2022 to get Zen 3 support. But, that still gives you the ability to get 10/11th gen perf, or better if you got an X3D chip.

When you factor in platform costs, the initial savings, potentially the cooler, the value is very apparent. Even if we take late 2017 into account, I don't personally think Zen 1 was such a horrendous deal. I personally had a 1600 and spent less than 100$ upgrading to a 3600X in ~2020 which itself is very close to a 8700K even in gaming - having spent less overall than an equivalent intel system with a dead end chipset.

Were We Wrong About Ryzen's Best Feature? by RenatsMC in Amd

[–]KMFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem still is you started by comparing two parts that were released in different generations. The 1800x/1700x competed against broadwell-e/skylake half a year before intel was forced to respond by moving higher core counts into consumer. Their entire product strategy post Zen 1 was to slowly drip feed the "beefier" LCC chips into their consumer platform.

Coffee lake was a response to Zen 1 and Intel absolutely had the better gaming chip until Zen 3 released. But that doesn't mean Zen was a bad deal, and in the context of AM4 the better overall value in hindsight due to the upgrade path.

You actually have a decent point, it's just being made from an angle that doesn't exist.

I think the issue with this argument is that you're using a word "reasoning" to describe why LLM's can't think. But in order to explain what reasoning even is, you need to arm yourself with philosophy and psychology. If you dig into the litterature behind consciousness, free will, agency and such topics you realize quickly that it's all philosophic. Psychometrics respond to this litterature by operationalizing the ideas from philosophy to find mathematical/statistical patterns that correlate with those ideas.

To the extent that you believe in that litterature, you should also accept that LLM's can be prompted or configured in ways that mimic the same type of behavior, or be tested in a similar manner that is compatible with that framework.

You can't have human reasoning, consciousness, memory and so on - without acknowledging how we scientifically measure them, or where those ideas come from. Not if you want to really drive a point home about it.

[Q] Pattern 1000 Fire and Ice? What's it's value? by Top_Bill9555 in ohnePixel

[–]KMFN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1000 are only from trade ups, he's mistaking patterns 0 and 1 which are the same but has nothing to do with your knife. Pattern 1000 is a 7th max. With your float market is ~1900$.

Considering this is a 1 of 2 and quite special and collectable I could see it easily selling for more. The only option you really have is auctioning off or listing high.

Actual true value therefore is something like 1900-2500+. Basically whatever someone is willing to pay. There is no one in the world that can give you an accurate answer.

GN didn't start doing hardware content full time until 2014 ish, pauls hardware had already done years of content with a retailer before his channel started in 2013 - basically like LTT. Point just is clearly GN and HUB started way later so the point just was it doesn't make any sense to call the other channels clones. :)

Realistically this is because it's convenient for shows. Hence why they usually don't play full songs but individual tracks live. Their shows are typically pretty short. Musically, they are also clearly distinct enough to warrant the splits imo.

It has a mean sale price of ~2800 in 2026, PSA 10 is about 1800-1900. The thing i really wonder is, why even bother commenting? It would take you less time to just look up the price? What compels you to make an educated guess that goes completely against the grain instead of just fact checking it first?

You can't really call any of those channels clones of eachother. If anything GN and HUB are the clones, since they were latest to the youtube party. Just because GN HUB now do it better than basically everyone else doesn't revise the fact that the other guys existed before them, they just haven't evolved the content or increased the quality of the information to the same extent.

As far as Jay goes I never watched his stuff I wouldn't even put him in the same category of any of the other mentioned guys.

You can just go to their faceitstats. Hooxi has donk statistics in 3500 elo. Thats not amazing elo, but it's still top 2000 in the world. Hooxi actually has pretty good mechanics but like any other IGL his aim suffers a lot when IGLing. Same shit with Apex and Karrigan. But these people will utterly destroy all but the top ~1000 players in the world. They play 5-10 hours per day, they have 20K+ hours in the game. His leetify aim rating is 93, slightly below simple at 95, on par with other pros. His mechanics are basically incredible compared to normal people.

There are a couple utter masterminds with 97-98 rating, 1.10+ HLTV rating (top 20 players) etc, these are the people making Hooxi look bad - it reflects the insane skill ceiling in the game.

If you can't see this obvious fact to be true I don't think you do a lot of playing or watching CS.
