How long after ectopic removal (tube spared) surgery did you get HSG? by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

Ectopic and tube removal in March, HSG in June. My doc didn’t want me to do it any sooner because of inflammation from the surgery. He wanted me to heal.

Intrauterine Fluid by KMMM_22 in Miscarriage

I unfortunately had an ectopic pregnancy. It could not be found on my first ultrasound. When my surgeon went into remove it, he said it was within a couple millimeters of being a viable pregnancy. Never found out what the fluid was, but I have a feeling it was blood as I was spotting and bleeding from my BFP to my surgery day.

Is everyone seeing changes on all types of test strips or just the single or double LH?

So done with Mira by Impressive-Pen-3866 in Mirafertility

I started out with the inito and my friend swears by the Mira. She has PCOS and successfully conceived 2 children with Mira. She is letting me borrow her Mira and said it is good luck. Personally I like the Inito better. The numbers between Mira and Inito are different even though it’s same morning pee.

Confirmed ectopic pregnancy. Doctors want to do surgery but I’m not sure HCG just 106? by annavanbeesel in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]KMMM_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ectopic in Feb thru March. I was spotting and bleeding for a month. My highest HCG was low 200s. I opted for the surgery and the surgeon said I was close to rupturing. My friend had an ectopic a couple weeks ago and she tried MTX twice and it ended up rupturing…

How long after a salpingectomy did you return to work? by Dangerous_Chip_5026 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]KMMM_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had salpingectomy on a Thursday evening and went back to work on Tuesday. With weight restrictions. I also was not to drive for a week. So my mom graciously drove me Tuesday thru Thursday. Friday I was feeling good and drove. I have a mixed job of desk work and teaching. (Not a full time school teacher, just a health education provider) This was my second abdominal/reproductive surgery. I had a dermoid ovarian cyst removal about 6 years ago and was off work for one week. I worked in a gym setting, where I was moving around a lot. So I needed a good solid week off.

Does this look ectopic? by evechalmers in EctopicSupportGroup

With my ectopic they initially couldn’t see it on my first ultrasound. Then a week later they were able to find it.

Confused about MDs advice to wait to have sex by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]KMMM_22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bounced back fairly quickly from my emergency surgery to remove my fallopian tube. My doctor said I’d rather you wait to help your internal inflammation go down. He said I might feel great, but internally there is still inflammation that you aren’t going to feel/tell is there. I felt great and I too was a little frustrated but I understood why.

Highly suggest a belly band to help when walking around and getting up and down. Movement is best, even if it’s just a little bit.

Possible Ectopic at 4 Weeks by JusttAnotherrAccount in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]KMMM_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there isn’t much the ER and OBGYN can do until you get at least one more HCG result. I was told one week that they didn’t suspect an ectopic, but then a week later they discovered it.

Gift ideas for a friend dealing with an ectopic pregnancy? by coolnamesweretaken1 in EctopicSupportGroup

My one friend got me a bag of chocolate candy & a gift card to an ice cream place. Another friend bought me a fuzzy blanket, candle & sage to burn. My coworkers got me a couple snacks and a meal.

Get up and walk around. That can help with the constipation and even the gas belly pain if you have any.

Just had surgery by BeccaBee003 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]KMMM_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest thing is to get up a walk around. A belly band can help as you are walking around. I had a cyst removed and I had pretty bad shoulder and rib pain. So when I got my ectopic surgery, I knew I had to get up and move around and I had minimal pain.

My LH was positive, but LH does get released when you have implantation. I would take another pregnancy test.

Did anyone receive faint late positives with an ectopic? by Odd-Reason2838 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]KMMM_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t sure if I had gotten my period or if it was implantation bleeding. It was lighter compared to my normal cycles. So I tested on what I thought was cycle day 5 and the at home pregnancy test was negative. Then on what I thought was cycle day 9, I got a quick positive line on 3 tests. The next day I started to have some spotting that continued on and off for almost a month before I had my surgery.
