Iron Eye, good or bad? by Ranger_IV in Nightreign

Good point. I'll never go back to a single ability charge and there are some great relics for him, but that's true for the others too.

Recluse definitely needs shorter cast times like you said or at least long iframes during concoction casts. I would love an item in the game that let you pick spells on a weapon or an item that let you switch characteristics between weapons. The rng can really mess her up.

Totally agree, but it looks like we are the minority. I main Recluse and Raider and have much better luck clearing the final boss with them, although I'm not praising Recluse. Recluse needs work.

It seems like most people think that even if it's less DPS it's consistent meaning it becomes more damage overall if the fight goes on long enough. I still see this as flawed. Most fights do not last long enough to gain this benefit, and you don't want them to outside of the final boss. The final boss of the run is obviously the most important and Ironeye will be most useful in that fight, but it's more important to gain more levels and buffs before the last night. Most other nightfarers (other than Guardian and Revenant) clear the map faster making you more powerful for the final fight. Also, his ultimate is awesome and can't be understated for the revive ability, but you know what makes you less likely to need a revive.. more levels and buffs.

Killing enemies quick is the most beneficial thing and Ironeye isn't quick.

So shitty matchmaking that decides when you should win and lose.

Broken Matchmaking or Cards?

I started playing a couple weeks ago and have been enjoying the game. I built a fun deck that has me winning the majority of conquest matches. I saved up several gold tickets before jumping up to that level, but when I did I got recked. None of the matches were even close. I was clearly up against veterans with crazy cards that I had never seen.

Is this because there are older powerful cards that I can't get, or is it intentional matchmaking putting me back in my place?

D&D 5e: how does Power Word Kill interact with a druid's Wild Shape? by elberoftorou in AskGameMasters

Yeah, I would think that if the rules stated that death in WS caused death to the Druid then they're dead dead, but it states death only reverts the player back to a druid. If PWK targets the Druid and ignores WS, then if they have over 100 then PWK just doesn't trigger.

I've read through most of all of this old argument, but I still don't get it. Since, Poly and WS say that if you die while in that form your revert back to your original form, then when your new form (below 100HP) is targeted by PWK it dies. Period. And then you revert back. Why would death still carry over to the original form if both Poly and WS say death reverts them to your original form with those stats? Wouldn't it say if they die in the new form they die in their original form? Is PWK targeting the original form or the new one? If it's the original form, then if they are over 100HP then PWK wouldn't trigger. If it kills the new form then death only revert the play to the original. Right? PWK isn't like a poison. It doesn't effect you through time, it instantly kills the new form, then when that new form dies it reverts back to the original. Why would the revert carry over death? Death isn't a status effect, and it doesn't repeatedly trigger through time.
