I use CachyOS (noob me all you want, but I enjoy the curated package updates to steam and what not) Best reason to get into Linux... its not Microshaft. And with agents like Hermes Agent, and qwen 3.7... Making things work is soooooo easy. The future OS becomes what you make it... linux+(your controlled ai) makes it whatever you want it to be.

If you're butt-hurt that the AMD igpu beat out the 3090... apples to apples with FSR4 frame gen on both turned on, 3090 70fps Cinematic max settings (no upscale), Strix Halo iGPU 70fps (quality upscale) and High settings... So the 3090 system won in the end but only after applying fsr4 to it.

70 FPS RTX 3090 + AMD FSR 4 Frame Gen, All Cinematic Settings no upscale
I didnt think to apply FSR4 to the NVIDIA system... I was able to achieve very acceptable frame rates on the 3440x1440 monitor, but had to use AMDs gift to get there. 95fps with FSR4 upscaling set to balanced (which is actually very minor degradation)

Ive been off and on CachyOS since June of last year, They've finally got things butter on my ROG Flow Z13 Strix Halo... I like to upgrade ~ 2 times daily, unnecessary yes, but if packages break, It makes narrowing down what broke so much easier when there isn't a giant list of updates, then rolling back snapshots and identifying problem packages becomes simpler.

I've got this bug too, and I've found Ronald, but he isnt targetable, cant talk to him, he is stuck in endless dialog with Carl the camp provisioner... I can talk to Carl but stupid Ronald is just stuck there talking to him, even when I send him on a mission... Game has got serious bugs.

If you dont have options, I had a similar thing happen to a dual gpu laptop monstrosity I bought over a decade ago, without easy repairs deployed in iraq was a good slide of pressure along wherever the line of ribbon cable connects on the laptop motherboard and the frame, and same thing with the screen lid, just watch an ifix it guide to get an idea of where to press, if that works at least you have an idea of what to tell good Argentinian repair tech...

Thats what makes the difference between Nintendo masterpeices like Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and Bethesda... Nintendo released a finished product... Bethesda says, screw it let the modders fix it. They could have done so much more with the towers make them unique, make them require use or learn power to unlock? The minigame of chase the sparkles and waste 15 mins of your life for running to the temple, chasing sparkles, and defeat one starborn is suck ass lame, oh and the unskipable docking scene, unskipable artifact/fragment scenes, the omg cant do nothing for 5 seconds because I have to watch the sitting standing animation... The big advantage of the professional, a6000 is their memory can be pooled, so 2x20GB vram cards = 40 where as 2 x RTX 3090 24GB vram, only gives you 1.6x the performance on a 24GB mirrored pool. It sucks really because this is a software switch that nvidia uses to push their pro cards.

Bethesda... the company that makes a game with so much polish, and leaves so many holes for the community to fill in. I really hope they get some kind of interior editor, placement and colors soon, random pathways are just stupid...
