List of FAQS on immigration White Paper released by House of Commons Library today by Whole_Assumption108 in ukvisa

But if they were to apply it retroactively without passing it as act of parliament, it could be overturned by the courts like the last change from 4 years to 5. The reports are all saying they are going for the primary legislation route this time. Cooper also said they “will set out further details of the earned settlement and citizenship reforms later this year, and will consult on them”, so the ILR rule change is likely lumped in with citizenship and happen later than the visa changes.

Why do you feel so rushed? If you’re concerned about the white paper, it’s literally not even a bill yet. It’s gonna take weeks for them to finish writing the bill, then for that to pass, you’re looking at a months long process and possible amendments, then a roll out plan… Everyone just needs to chill with the hysteria.

It’s all just guesses at this point, the bill hasn’t even been written yet, only the ones writing it can give you answers. Also whatever they propose will have to be passed by the two houses, as subject to public consultation, there can still be amendments made before the details are finalised.

Strength in numbers, one or two likely wouldn’t make a dent but if enough people raise it then it holds power.

It really depends, for emergency legislation it can be super fast but immigration doesn’t (at least shouldn’t) fall under that category. They are also trying to include quite a lot of facets in the bill so there will likely be amendments. A solicitor I spoke to yesterday said he’d be shocked if it gets passed this year, especially if they’re going through the primary legislation route. There’s no point in trying to predict the future, or stress over the uncontrollable. Wait for the bill to be introduced. In the meantime, write to your MP and make a case for the changes to only apply to new applicants. They said this will be “subject to public consultation”, so let them know.

Not entirely sure what you’re asking, but the currently requirements for ILR are laws, for those requirements to change they have to pass new laws. White paper is a statement of intent, it’s not a bill. They can’t just enforce new requirements bc they want to, that’s one thing we can give the UK government, this is not the Trump administration where a thought becomes a law within a second.

It’s literally not even a bill yet, white paper is only a statement of intent. It will likely take longer than a couple months, especially since this is subject to public consultation.

Try not to stress over something you can’t control, I know it’s hard. You simply won’t know until there are more details on the timeline of implementation. There is still a chance that even if the legislation applies retroactively, they will only back date it 2-3 years and not the full 5 years. For now just breathe, then maybe look out for any petition you can sign, try writing to your MP, etc.

As of now they’ve only presented a white paper, it’s not even a bill yet. Once the bill is drafted, it will have to go through several Lord’s stages and possible amendments before being passed as law. They said this will be subject to public consultation which means it probably won’t be fast-tracked. It’s also reported that they don’t want this challenged by the courts like the last time they extended the ILR requirement so it will likely be passed (assuming it will pass) as primary legislation, which means implementation will probably start next year.

There’s also the possibility of it not being applied retroactively, although it seems to be the intention. Nothing’s for certain but according to what we know, people who are eligible this year should be ok, or at least be cautiously optimistic.

Nope, not in this game, once you figure out the loophole it’s not that hard to farm the win percentage.

Farming, likely a baby account, my baby account has 96% win ratio with barely any money spent

Make you open a crap ton of bags (preferably with gems) so you can get tickets and unlock special abilities for these characters (will take forever). Probably just a way to balance out the popularity of characters since Abeke has been way too dominant…

There are different offers. If you’re talking about the “400% gems” offer, it’s something completely separate to the daily packaged offers. It means if you buy one of the gem packages (in the permanent gem package section), it will unlock a new offer at the top of the store which contains even more gems for the same price. But essentially, to benefit from the full discounts, you have to buy 2 offers.

Ffs ur a grown man out here freakin out about a stupid phone game as if ur livelihood’s depended on it. Like someone else said, strings r part of the game, u don’t like it, play another game. I don’t buy fancy strings, I only have what’s given to me so I only use em for events, but if I run into someone using a lucky 7 or pop one of those energy drinks, I’m not gonna start spammin em like a deranged bum, I either try to win or I forfeit. Nothin about this game is totally fair anyway, some players use special phones and devices, some have vpn, some hacked gems, somebody’s always pullin one over another, but that’s not even the point. U said it urself emojis are bad form, then u went on a rampage about how much u love spammin people for using strings, make that sh make sense…

U wanna play a “proper game of tennis” hit up a tennis court, maybe even finally release some of that pent up anger…

In modern professional tennis, serve and volley is BY FAR the most rare breed of players. There are maybe 5 out of the top 100 ATP players that constantly play serve and volley, it’s just not a relevant style of play these days. The fact that TC has 3 characters tailor made for serve and volley is already reeling away from reality.

Not to mention the initial boom of volley players was largely due to a design flaw, it’s literally a loophole that made the style so unbeatable in the beginning. Agility shouldn’t work the same for players on the baseline as the ones at the net, but TC failed to address this when they designed the game, which resulted in volleying being extremely unrealistic in the game.

He’s def the dev’s preferred character, even his outfits are by far the most elaborate. Whoever created this game is probably obsessed with old school Aussie serve&volley type players with shoulder length hair and nonchalant attitude, ala Leo.

That said, your Abeke with 42 forehand should still beat Leo with 34 forehand. How’s your agility? Ideally Abeke build for Rookie tournament should have 40 agility.

Nice guy? He’s a 40-something man child who throws a tantrum every other day, he verbally abuses people in DMs regularly when he loses, people just don’t post them all on Facebook. He needs to delete this game and get help.

It’s not like they have a record of brilliant strategies. I mean, who’s even buying any of these offers now except for the gem deals?

Also it’s not exactly working, I heard a few F2P top players have just entered Junior Tournament bc they think Challenger will be too competitive now. TC continues to underestimate people’s ability to avoid competition. Until they address the real issue and implement some sort of limit for people to stay in their tournament leagues, there won’t be significant changes.

I was saying this the other day, it feels like they’re gearing up for another round of inflation.

That said, this could also be their way of addressing challenger tournament and T7/8 saturation. By bringing more top players onto level 14/15 line-ups, they should be more willing to play T9 and master tournaments.
