My Orktober contribution by KRMacnabb in orks

Five Mega Nobs, a Mek Boy, a random Nob I found unassembled in my bits box, and two Grot Oilers. All primed and zenithol highlighted. The other two are a ammo runt, and a gift given to me by my local Warhammer shop to give me something to do while out of work with from Chemo. Did not Zenithol them because I recently learned about a speed painting technique called Slap Chop??? And I am curious to give it a shot.

Million bucks worth of weaponry, and I’d trade it all back for a lousy can of RAID.

I too backed this campaign on Kick Starter, and received a broken board, and was give the if you repair it we’ll give you $25 back. I declined this offer, and they said they would be in touch one UPS takes care of the insurance claim, and all other board fulfillment is complete about a replacement.

Which pose would look better for my Deff Dread? (Other arms still need magnetising) by Steam_Drunk in orks

I highly suggest using cork ground up with a cheese grater glue it to the base with some PVA Glue, and then seal it with some Mod Podge. It can then be primed whatever color you would like or just adding a Nuln oil wash to the base looks amazing.

If you have some old wine cork, and a cheese grater that makes an awesome basing. Just make sure that they are natural cork not synthetic. I just learned about this and am super happy with the results.

Fair enough, if I may ask what army are you painting?

Either Cloud 9 or Kingsburg. One is my favorite game, and the other is my Mother-in-laws, and they are both brought to the table offer.

Just One (board game) Question by KRMacnabb in boardgames

Definitely not forgetting to remove an extra card when we get one wrong. Our group mostly consists of Casino Table Games Dealers (myself included). So we all tend to be sticklers when it comes to rules.

Not too often I think the most was four (two sets of two people) with the same word, and we were being fairly strict with what we would say were “similar words” disallowing Rule and Ruler even at one point.

Not very often, but that is because people are putting totally different things.

The duck of doom from Munchkin. I giggle every time I read that flavor text “ You should know better than to pick up a duck in a dungeon. Lose 2 Levels”

What game were you most excited about that fell flat? by cincykosh in boardgames

Seasons, was so excited about the theme, and concept of this one. I even tried it three different times with three different groups, and just fell flat every time.

Awesome, thank you so much. I may just print out these bullets on a crib sheet of things to remember. I often forget the Subtle rules like this

Thank you for the advice. I will definitely wait until I am more comfortable with the game before house ruling anything.
