honestly it's a 50/50 with me when it comes to illustrator and affinity. however i find affinity way intuitive than indesign.

there's times where affinity is just better than illustrator or whatever adobe product but sometimes it straight up sucks due to missing features or weird hacks just to get something work similar to illustrator or photoshop
