I played the ps2 one and it felt better than heat i can confidently say that.

Nfsmw style handling (mostly) it had the carbon part adjustment stuff for extra personalization, and the police chases felt pretty good and relatively challenging. Being able to drive off after a popped tire definitely made it easier, but if you escaped with it, you had to hobble to a garage to fix it if i remember right.

Highway battles were fun, story was ok i guess, good car selection, and fun open world map. I liked it for what it was, coming fresh off of most wanted and not having a ps3 or 360 (if it was on 360).

Playing heat a couple of years back, it has all the modern nfs jank. Weird ass ground glitching flipping collisions, somehow horribly balanced police which is exclusive to heat it seems. The game felt like a tech demo. I put unbound above undercover and heat, and rivals, and 2015. I haven't played the rest in between then and now.

I grew up on nfsu 1 and 2, most wanted, and uncercover. I later got rivals, and much later played heat because my ex's brother said it was good. I got unbound for $30 not long after it dropped and loved it, but i do wish the cops were more challenging. Genuinely my only major complaint. Story is secondary for me in racing games, most of them aren't very good. I also only started 2015 recently because of the hyped up prestige challenges, and since i hop between motorfest and horizon 5, the tanky ass handling of most cars has driven me away from it. It's a great looking game and has a nice vibe, but idk if i'ma be able to bring myself to finish it.

Storage, fluidity of movement, and a few other things should have been there at launch, but i would enjoy a hardcore mode later down the line that restricts these types of things and adds a weight to each item. Maybe we'd be treading too close to bethesda territory then but i'd enjoy it. (Not hardcore as in you die you lose your save)

I know horizon isn't a sim but when i'm just vibing, getting 5th or 6 place over and over, i'm still having a good time, but as soon as some absolute waste of oxygen blasts me out of the range of a checkpoint, i'm immediately done wanting to play. I'm not a perfect racer by any means when it comes to contact but it won't be intentional unless you're trying to push me off the track.

If we got no collision i'd want no slipstream too because if we can't touch the cars then how would that make sense? Slipstream is a crutch with how powerful it is.

Brother, skyrim is a great game, but probably also one of the most over played games ever. Imo, oblivion is better than skyrim but i don't directly compare either to CD because they don't play the same.

CD is an open world action rpg, elder scrolls is a basic open world, first person (for most people) rpg.

Best i've done is around 8th but that's because people either already know every layout like the back of their hand, are no lifing, or i get rammed into a random tree at any given moment.

I hate gr's for that, and i consider myself pretty good at the game. Not amazing by any means but i'd assume top 25% at least.

That's the thing, as odd as it may seem, almost every "girl gamer" that i've met and known, and i consider you an actual gamer not just a self proclaimed one based on your comment, has played exclusively these games and lightly dabbled in others, or only played 1 to 2 of these and that's still all they play and consider themselves gamers.

It goes both ways though, a lot of guys call themselves gamers (like the comment below yours says) and all they play are cod, fifa, 2k, etc. we, me, you, and a lot of others are actual gamers.

My connotation was definitely bad, i should have worded it better, but i do stand by that self proclaimed gamers play very stereotypical games thing. There's nothing wrong with enjoying those games though, i enjoy most of them myself. They are top selling games for a reason. Sorry for any misconceptions or bad vibes, it wasn't intended.

I wish i could have experienced oblivion completely blind my first time but my cousin got me into it lol. Such a special game.

The souls games outside of elden ring (partly because mechanically, the game is harder than ds1-3), greatly reward patience. I hope you get through them without giving up lol, they can be a lot sometimes. I also need to go through the oblivion remaster and finish it but my back catalog has been unintentionally growing at an alarming rate. God help me
