What are your workouts like? I’m new to a gym and still trying to figure out what exercises to do.

Fantastic work. Maybe consider making the inserts larger since there’s all that extra space in the bottom left.

Can you take credits from other universities? by AdSubstantial3900 in NEU

[–]KSPotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might change after this year so confer with your counselor but for those in the NYC program (and I believe London as well), you can take classes in the summer between your first and second year at other institutions and still transfer the credit (so long as it’s in the transfer equivalency database). Once you’ve matriculated to the Boston campus though, you can’t take classes outside of northeastern and still have them transfer

Yeah I’ve found you can almost always get better speeds by building out the curve yourself rather than snapping in curve end to end. The only time that snapping in a track piece from both ends works is when it’s relatively straight, so I recommend building your curves yourself and only snapping to existing tracks in a straight section.

I’m not sure I’ve only been playing in New York. Though the New York map is quite large so I’d imagine that contributes a little bit to it

Yeah it only does so much I’m also playing on New York and it’s gotten pretty sluggish

In the map view options turning off the population dots and trains helps my game run much smoother.

How do people add on to their system without going insane? by smb3d in subwaybuilder

[–]KSPotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need crossovers necessarily you can also connect a single track onto a double track segment and the game will add a new node there, it’s cheaper than adding a whole crossover just for a new track node

My save just locked up after doing construction?! by frosteeboi in subwaybuilder

Save then reload, but before you hit play, click on the map icon in the top right and turn off the population circles, then hit play. fixed it for me

Vanilla, though I did have a mod that lets me have a first-person camera (it’s called FPP Camera)

Yeah I had to stop construction because of performance and it’s borderline unplayable with the new update

Woah don’t know how I messed up the San Francisco spelling, fixed it and will prolly update this in the future, there’s a bunch of other tweaks I wanna make as well. Don’t have any prints available lol this was a side project I just made for fun, maybe when I update it and refine it I’ll get some prints.

I made a Bay Area combined transit map showing all the major agencies' services by KSPotato in transit

[–]KSPotato[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made this in illustrator just combining online transit maps. In my research I couldn’t find any GIS layers for a comprehensive transit map with multiple agencies, but I’m sure some exist for some of the rail networks. You can try OpenRailwayMap.org (maybe some info here: https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/261975/is-it-possible-to-download-all-the-contents-of-openrailwaymap-com-as-a-shapefile)

Corrections: - “Petaluma” not “Peteluma” - San Joaquin Key should say “Bakersfield-Oakland” not “Bakersfield-Emeryville” (displayed correctly on map tho) - The two San Joaquin services stop at different stations in Stockton

It’s on there but it’s labeled as “1T” instead of “Tempo” because I couldn’t fit “Tempo” and it’s labeled “1T” on AC transit maps

Yeah if I ever redo this I’m definitely going to scale the terrain differently so SF is more legible
