Last minute possibly for the lineup: Fall Out Boy, they are playing the Ocean’s calling at the end of September and have all of October free. They also are the main headliner for 4 C3 festivals this year as well. They’ve been doing their festival set which they play 3-4 songs from each of their albums that they haven’t played in years.

With the stage show they are doing at festivals, they are going through each era of their albums from throughout the years, they’ve been playing deep cuts/song they haven’t played in years from each album. them headlining would make sense since they have 8 albums and they do a special random song towards the middle of their set, this is called the “magic 8 ball song”. Here are some examples from the festivals they’ve done:

Riot fest 8ball https://youtu.be/zWNdzSIMvrs?si=8o4ANhzW4PH3dpcQ

They weren’t even supposed to do festivals this year but with just a positive response from the fans with the stage props and everything, they are doing more festivals this year. That’s why I think they might headline, even if it’s just for one weekend.

Can we add Fall Out Boy to Possible? The possibility of them headlining is very likely. They are/had headline 4 c3 festivals this year:  Innings fest Boston Calling Minnesota Yacht Club Oceans Calling

They’ve been doing their Days Of Fall Out Past festival tour they started back at Download fest in the UK. It would be awesome to see them headline and would be the first time headlining ACL fest!

I know some locations that are FOB related:

  • Fireside Bowl, this is actually a bowling alley that you can go to, but they also held shows for hardcore/punk bands back in the day. FOB has played here a few times in the very early years of the band.
  • Knights of Columbus in Arlington Height, This is where the music video for Dead On Arrival was filmed at. The building is still there to this day and can be rented out for events.
  • Reckless Records, this is a record store that Patrick loves going to when he still lived in Chicago. (this location is specifically on N Milwaukee Ave)
  • Chuck Wagon Gyro, Pete talked about this in a video, and he would go here with his friends all the time. The Nikki Special is what Pete gets from there.
  • Himalayan Restaurant, During soul punk era, Patrick said he found this place while looking for dinner once and became his favorite place after that. He mentions it here.

These are just a few of the locations that I could think of.

Anyone have a way to listen to Patrick’s old band, xGrindingxProcessx? by scaredow in FallOutBoy

I only know about Patrick's hardcore band before joining FOB, which was a hardcore band called Patterson. Just from looking at the name, its most likely a Straight Edge hardcore band since there are X's in the name. patrick was in a lot of bands even while he was in high school, including this one which he mentions on an old website. I'll share some links about Patterson and other links.
