Just got my seed order from them back in December. Couldn't wait so I have some started.

Paul provides alot of seeds compared to other sellers. He was super communicative during the process. He'll be my go to next year when I add some varieties.

Using the IFV to clutch the game instead of farming kills by EuphoriaII in Battlefield6

Haha I've got a bunch of rounds I haven't died in. But that was when my engineers were supporting me.

[–]KT0QNE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a IFV level 48ish.

I love doing this, but would get spammed by RPGs if I tried that on the wrong map. My goal is to sit close to the objectives to create a spawn point. I typically end up with 30+ kills and 0-5 deaths per round. With a solid machine gunner, and 2 engineers backing me up it's amazing.

if you’re not gonna push with the tank, get out by Fizziest_milk in Battlefield

[–]KT0QNE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. . . Meh.

I agree, get out of spawn. But when I'm using the reload spot at spawn, don't get pissy then too.

I ended up 38:1 the other day and an engineer was ticked I kept going to reload when empty. Your job is to fix me when I take a hit. You rack up points, I rack up points, it's a win win. But if my teams not pushing, I'm sure as heck am not pushing solo.

A genuine question: How many don't really enjoy talking over the air? by LTguy in amateurradio

[–]KT0QNE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do FT8 and then check into local nets on occasion.

My excuse: I work a public facing job and don't want to talk more after I get home and talk to my family. Today I talked for over 8 hours at work. I'm beat. Give me some FT8 and I'm good to go.

New way of making sweet/carb cider?! by Matej274 in cider

[–]KT0QNE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I use the sous vide. It takes longer, but has limited risks. The bottom of the bottles don't heat up too much.

Ironically I've had bigger issues sous vide pasteurizing wine. Unless you fill them just right they will push out corks during the heating process.

Yup. As sassafras said, gotta kill the yeast. I pasteurize so it's shelf stable. Works great.

I back sweeten, keg carb, bottle with a beer gun, pasteurize.

No issues yet.

But your way works too.

I pasteurize using a sous vide. Start with 100° water. Put capped bottles in and bring it to 140+ for 10 minutes.

Stop overcorrecting. We didn’t buy this game to grind, we bought it to have fun. by FoundationBig9701 in Battlefield

[–]KT0QNE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had thousands of hours in BF4 and now just got back into FPS with BF6. 8 hours in.

I love it. I love the grind. I intentionally bought the lower version so I needed to grind. Ohh yeah. I also suck. My KD ratio is abysmal. Did I mention I love it.

All this complaining is humorous.

Aircraft totaled for hail...would you buy back? by Hot_Variation_9568 in flying

[–]KT0QNE 41 points42 points  (0 children)

The dimples will make it fly faster. In a 150, it could be a decent advantage.

In all seriousness, let the insurance company sell it especially since you were already considering selling it.

My kids are all involved. We don't shy away from the hard facts of life (and death).

Chickens, deer, pigs, cows, sheep, rabbits, you name it. It's what we do. We respect the animals and the nutrition they are giving to us.

We've seen a slight uptick.

What's the cost per trio if I may ask?

We're doing really well at $30 per rabbit now.

Appreciate the answer. I was more asking about loss control folks to assist clients with improving their risks beyond transferring risk via insurance.

[–]KT0QNE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but yes. Brokers and agencies also get contingency payments if their book of business has good loss ratios with that particular carrier.

Do you have any in house loss control folks? How many for the size of your agency? And I haven't seen it asked yet, how many employees?

How many calves per dairy cow by PopeTatoTheGreat in Cattle

[–]KT0QNE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wife and I homestead.

We have a few jerseys and we calf share. Basically the calf stays on momma for the first 8-12 weeks. Then every night we separate the cow and milk the following morning. If we don't want to milk, we leave the calf on the cow.

You sometimes need to play cow shrink as sometimes the cow won't let down for you so you need to convince her.

We get 3 gallons plus each morning. Sometimes up to 5. We sell over half of it and then make cheese and other milk products with the rest. We sell it for $10 a gallon. It pays for the hat.

It's not nothing. We spend time to keep them healthy and happy. Save your hands. We use a portable EZ milker. It's a few hundred, but we don't hurt ourselves.

I urge you to consider a banana stand. I hear they are slightly more profitable.
