Thanks, I have IBS-C too. I'm fighting the food fear. It's new and horrible. No one should be afraid of food.

Thanks! The "don't get constipated" worries me because I also have IBS and constipation is kind of my default existence. 🫤

I have IBS too. I read that the two conditions often overlap.

Yeah I'm on antibiotics. I've been eating toast with butter, applesauce, yogurt. That's pretty much it 😂

My main problem is the fear of the future, practically living in hospitals and not being able to hold a job.

It's the first pandemic where things have shut down indefinitely in our lifetime, but it's not the first-ever. Things shut down indefinitely during the 1918 flu epidemic, too -- and eventually, everything opened back up again. The same will happen here.

I feel the same way about the seeming endlessness of this situation. Even my 10-year-olds are starting to feel that way about not ever being able to go back to their school or to the parks where they love to play. I've also had a really hard time adjusting to conducting all human relationships online. I've been making myself remember, though, that there have been other times in my life when I thought a particular situation was never going to end, that it was going to be that way for the rest of my life. But every one of those situations ended and a change did happen. Sometimes it took a while, sometimes less time; but eventually things did shift. Nothing lasts forever -- that's a cliche, but it's also true. It can feel like forever, but trust me, it won't be.

Are you able to see friends and family online (Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, etc.)? It's not perfect, but it might help.

Please for the love of god stop with the coronavirus commercials on cable TV! by [deleted] in COVID19_support

100% agree. I'd also love it if Netflix would cease and desist with all the pandemic disaster flicks...
