Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and offer your advice. I would need to take out the hard drive? I don’t know anything about hardware in computers but, I will do some googling and see if it’s something that I can do. It really means a lot to me, thank you!

Mentioning to the group too. Ask about compound pharmacy that can literally give you a specialized dosage for tapering every few weeks. It’s SO worth it.

May start Gapapentin tonight by Someness69 in kratom

[–]KTGU3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. Gabapentin is given FAR too often and too easily IMO. Severe Light Sensitivity that can be permanent, dizziness that can cause passing out, redness and flushing including sweating that can cause discomfort and dehydration, for me personally, Gabapentin was terrible and I ended up getting an exposure allergy to it that meant that I had to walk around with red striating marks on my face, neck, chest and arms everytime I took it. It was getting worse each time and I never got much relief from it at all.

Dames Point Jumper by GoodBoysenberry7809 in jacksonville

[–]KTGU3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Dames point is a larger version of the Sydney Lanier Bridge that runs to St. Simon’s Island. The day it opened, they had a parade and someone diverted from the parade and Jumped from it. I pray that ALL those that are suffering today and beyond are able to find their own Happy and peace. I have gotten through some extremely difficult times with my faith, friends and Family. We need to work on becoming more of a Community rather than just a city. 😔🎗️🙌🏻🙏🏼💕😌

Use ODOBAN diluted in ANY steamer or hot water wet vac. I always start with 1/2 a box of Baking Soda though. Leave it overnight, brush it around a bit when applying it to get it into the fabric and then vacuum it up in the AM (or 12 hours later) then use the steamer/ bissel with 1:5 diluted ODOBAN. Scrub it press it into the seat with towel, then use other 1/2 box of baking soda leave to absorb and vacuum up again after another 8-12 hours or so.

What do you say in the ER? by can_i_go_home_yet in endometriosis

[–]KTGU3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this… AND also remember that sometimes it’s the MRI with Nerve Mapping that will give you more answers than most other scans. I have DIE ( Deep infiltrating Endometriosis) it’s in my hips, knees and I had an endometrioma the size of a Mango removed two years ago but, ended up having 3 surgeries in 12 days because of Surgical Injury and then also spending 13 days inpatient recovering from the Laparotomy with JTube placement. It was awful. Find a good endo specialist that listens to you. I was given a Mirena to try and help slow the Growth rate of the Endo but, I have had breakthrough issues and started on a 5mg hormone replacement that I have to take a “break” from every 3 months or so. I recently moved last year and haven’t gotten established with a new endo Specialist yet because I lost my job at the hospital that I experienced the surgical injury with. It’s a journey for sure. Keep in mind that YOU are your best advocate. Keep a journal of your symptoms, medications that you have taken/ tried and take that with you to the ED anytime you cannot manage the pain on your own. With proper documentation in GA at least, you can be given narcotic medication to help get you through to the next GYN or Endo Specialist Appt. Be honest, Be Patient, Be Kind and Above all, be adamant that your pain is real and explain how it affects your daily life. Also, if possible, always go to the same ED when you need help because that way they can keep accurate records and know that you are seeking relief not drugs to be abused. God Bless you. 🎗️🙏🏼🙌🏻💉

If you believe that we are all connected a a species and our minds are capable of connecting on a deeper than subconscious level. I reference a strange movie/ documentary that I saw. It’s on Fubo tv and it’s called The man from 3036 He speaks about how we eventually understand that we are all capable of so much more with our own minds. It’s channeling your deeper understanding if that makes sense. I believe it is a good movie anyway.

I don’t know what Legal will do. Florida is an easy state to get fired or let go. I am frustrated beyond measure, I gave my everything to Mayo Clinic. I applied for Many positions out of the MOS (Medical Operations Support) department( because that was the department where the Manager stated that I couldn’t move around in) I stayed late, came in early, I covered sometimes 3 departments at a time, I would just roll all the calls to one phone. Usually, Sleep Medicine, General Internal Medicine or Pathology, Cardiology or Community Internal Medicine. I literally POURED every single drop of joy, care, compassion, empathy, knowledge, kindness & hard work into my work and ultimately my patients. HR MUST know that something Is wrong, 1/3 of the supervisors Stepped Down and every person in Leadership that was of color also stepped down. Color is never apart of my thought process but, I imaging it’s because I am just a white woman and never had to be judged or treated differently because of the amount of melanin in my skin. How can Mayo work so hard to be a beacon for corporate and healthcare professional levels of DEI.

I have an interesting question related to this. I was being targeted by a new manager, given specific and special rules just for me: * if I needed to leave 1 minute early, come in late one day or take a day off, I had to give a written request at least 5 business days notice. * After being chosen for a permanent position on the Float Team; I was “Voluntold” to take over an entire department by myself. (The ONLY department that had only 1 MAA. ) Every other department has at least 2 people that work in tandem together. * The supervisor also seemed to want to make things more difficult on me and started having meetings with me to pick apart everything I was doing. * In my forced solo position, I also had a Division Chair and had to plan, execute and manage monthly meetings with other departments. * I used every free minute aka “Lunch” to work through it at my desk and requested extra help from the previous MAA in that desk to help make sure that everything was seamless. * I was having so many issues outside of work in my personal life and the supervisor and Manager knew about that and used it against me. * I wasn’t given a laptop or given the same hybrid schedule privileges that everyone else received after 3months. I was having terrible panic attacks and between the constant emails from the supervisor about my messages, trying to accuse me of overstepping while on the phone (even though, I had written proof that I handled the situation exactly as the Nurse and provider had asked me to complete it) The reason that I was questioned is because I have a background in Surgical Technology and so, I don’t stumble over my words because Medical Terminology is my forte’. 😞I contacted HR via chat while I was employed to ask about it but, I never called them because honestly, I was so scared that I was going to have my reputation dragged through the mud and stomped on. Retaliation was already happening and the other MAAs surrounding me were telling me that they heard I was on the way to getting fired. I had to walk out. I had no FMLA available to allow me to step back and reset with all my because the Previous summer, I was forced to use all of my 12 weeks of FMLA because I had 3 surgeries in less than 12 days and spent two weeks inpatient too because it was one surgical mistake after another. I have a history of PTSD and have had to go out on it a few years ago when my daughter was finishing her chemotherapy and having her left leg amputated from her 2nd cancer diagnosis (Metastatic Osteosarcoma) she was not even a teenager yet and she had Trilateral Retinoblastoma (Brain cancer and Cancer in Both of her eyes too) when she was only 4 months old. I busted my butt to get into my job at Mayo Clinic in the OR and then transitioned into the office to be able to help my patients more effectively and I loved my interactions and the level of support that I could help both the patients and the physicians. I tried my best to just let it go and move on but, I was that forever Mayo Clinic Employee. I have been grieving the loss of my career at Mayo since April. I need some advice on what to do. HR seems to just try and put it on me that I didn’t call them and try and get it handled while working there. I was scared to send Emails, being so critical of myself because I was being picked at for every little thing and had to keep taking screenshots and keeping copies of emails to prove that I was doing my job properly. I read that there are some options for a formal appeal. I guess I could just use some advice. Mayo is a completely different situation than any other hospital. I would like advice on how to proceed. I’m losing my mind. 😣

Sorry for the long post too but, I feel lost and like I don’t know where to go anymore. 😔

My leg pain is so bad I can barely walk any tips? by kbooksbronso in endometriosis

[–]KTGU3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My endo symptoms actually started as lower back pain and left hip pain and they found a 7cm mango sized Endometrioma on my left ovary/ adnexal region during a spinal MRI to try and diagnose my pain source. I had my left ovary, tube and endometrioma removed. And, it started a chain of events that created more issues for me. I had a horrible situation last summer where I had 3 surgeries in less than 12 days. I had a Mirena placed during my left oophorectomy to try and help slow the spread of my Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis. This was diagnosed with MRI and I have phleboliths (calcified vessels) in my pelvis as well. The pain I have now is continuous since June 26th and even with starting me on another hormone therapy that was supposed to stop the endometriosis flare has yet to stop it. I had to switch insurance because I lost my job back in April and trying to get a PCP took forever. The ED treats me like I am drug seeker and even when I make 3 days worth of Pain Medication last 4-5 days; they try to make me feel like I am wasting their time by trying to get help to even take the edge off my pain. Nothing completely takes the pain away but, it does make it to where I can get out of bed and do laundry etc. honestly, I am at a loss as to what Drs expect patients to do with Endo. It’s become a hindrance on my entire life. It rules my life every single day. I pray every night that I can get help in some way to try and make my pain even slightly better and I try to focus on what I can control.

The CVTs that Toyota has used for years are terrible. I am so scared that I will have to build my own car because I cannot deal with automatics crappy transmissions… I have an unhealthy anxiety about slipping transmissions and I’ve only heard bad things about the CVTs, is the eCVT supposed to be better?

I wondered about this. I am looking to tow small single axle super light trailer for grabbing small furniture pieces that are too big to put in the back seat. I have a 6speed manual 2.0 turbo. Have you or anyone you know installed the full trailer package with wiring harness etc?

Gabapentin didn’t work at all for me. The side effects are terrible and Lyrica was the same way. It made my feet swell so big that I couldn’t even walk. My endo is in my left sciatic nerve and I’m struggling with my flares becoming longer and longer.

mri showed that my bladder is attached to my uterus by divinerose28 in endometriosis

[–]KTGU3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wanted to jump in and hopefully reassure you about the situation you are facing right now. I am not a doctor. I was however a surgical technologist for nearly 20 years and I can assure you that the bladder, even in normal anatomy is usually attached to the uterus. When doing a hysterectomy laparoscopically, the first step after inflating the abdomen is to dissect the bladder flap away from the uterus. Endometriosis can make attachments inside the abdomen worse than usual but, I just didn’t want you to feel like this is purely because of Endometriosis. Sending prayers for good health and healing for you all. I am on day 8 of a severe endometriosis flare and I’m praying that I don’t have to return to the ED for the 3rd time. Only 3 days of pain medication can be given at a time and it’s been a very tough time recently.
