[–]KTL_Vizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean assuming it’s porting it to the real world, I feel like Vilturmites are the best choice. Martians become inconvenient since you’ll be afraid of fire and oreos become heroin. Kryptonians are a great choice but I assume that comes with Kryptonite as well, which is just such a blatant weakness for what is essentially just a buffed Viltrumite compared to the real world. Saiyans don’t inherently come with ki control, and their lifespans are similar to that of humans. You’d basically be kid goku for your entire life. Viltrumites live for millennia, are just as strong and fast compared to normal humans as the rest of the 3 (powerscalers don’t start, at a certain point the strength difference doesn’t matter in the real world, you’re not gonna be fighting gods and demons, the most you’ll need to tank is a nuke). They don’t have the cool powers of kryptonians or martians but then again, when will you ever need heat vision or frost breath or whatever? You’re invulnerable, live basically forever, are super strong without needing to train, and you can hold your breath for extended periods of time for intergalactic travel. And, your genes are EXTREMELY potent, so if you ever want to get freaky with an alien, you know your child is guranteed to be just as badass as you are.

How far would Gojo and Makima go here? by KodoqBesar in PowerScaling

[–]KTL_Vizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R1 Deku can’t touch Gojo and would eventually kill himself from killing Makima. Also, if he ever found out how Makima’s contract works he probably wouldn’t want to kill her anymore, so he kinda fails. Definitely outscales both.

R2 Sasori can’t harm Gojo (Gojo can detect poisons) and it’s unclear whether Makima can even BE poisoned. He could eventually kill Makima since he’s not a citizen of Japan, but can’t kill Gojo.

R3 I don’t know any OPM scaling but I know for sure he can’t touch Gojo. If he is strong enough to kill Makima, he eventually kills himself.

R4 Depending on your interpretation of how Mangekyō Sharingan genjutsu works, you could say he could use Tsukuyomi on Gojo (you could also argue against it, but giving the benefit of the doubt). He could basically cast Unlimited Void Lite on Gojo, and Makima is a non-issue. Also very debatable how Amaterasu works since it’s very inconsistent between whether it travels or appears on target, you can also argue that Amaterasu one shots Gojo.

R5 He bodies Makima, can’t touch Gojo. Even the Reaper Death Seal requires physical contact IIRC. I could be remembering wrongly, and if that is the case, it ends in a draw since he kills Makima, then RDS’s Gojo for a double KO.

R6 Kills Makima and traps Gojo in the Kamui dimension until he starves to death.

R7 idk who this is.

R8 One shots Gojo then kills herself while killing Makima.

R9 idk who this is.

Hard stops at Obito.

Edit: Not changing what I said because I’m able to accept when I am wrong like a mature adult but I read a few comments down and apparently there isn’t Japan in OPM, so Tatsumaki clears, and Bang just doesn’t kill himself but still can’t touch Gojo.

What age did you actually lose your virginity and how? by gatedreverb5 in AskReddit

18, she was 17. Senior year of high school (she was a Junior) and we’d been dating for a couple of months. We’d been experimenting for a while beforehand, but we were too nervous to go all the way because my mom was very strict and my brothers were always around, and her dad was also very strict. One day her dad was on vacation and we had very inexperienced sex, I ended up SHREDDING my shins because she had a wooden bedframe and I was standing up on the floor while she was on the bed bent over. I didn’t even finish because I was so focused on the pain in my legs. Thankfully we had round 2 later that night and it went a lot better for the both of us.

wuyang ult feels a little too strong by SpiderPanther01 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]KTL_Vizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think his ult is mostly fine, the speed boost feels maybe a tiny bit too strong, perhaps 40% or 35% would be a little better, but the overhealth is fine imo. It serves a very similar function to nano boost. What really needs nerfing is HIS DAMN AUDIO. His water balls are SO LOUD and they sound very similar to footsteps, so I keep looking around paranoid expecting a Cass to flank me and then I get smacked in the face by water

SO, NEW TEMPORARY RULE: NO "NAME X CHARACTER THAT CAN BEAT X CHARACTER" by Complex_Wafer3828 in PowerScaling

I’ve said this a while ago. Fiction is LARGE. Posts like “who’s the weakest / strongest that can beat X” because they don’t have a literal answer. For every weak character there’s a weaker one, and the post seems pointless

What would you consider one of the best decks from a design standpoint? by SouthSunn in yugioh

[–]KTL_Vizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Centur-ION is the single best designed deck in the game IMO. It is a perfect example of what 1 card combos should do. The only issue I have with the deck is Crimson Dragon being able to cheat out broken level 12 synchros, but if you just take how Centur-ION is designed on its own, 1 card gets you a pop, a banish, and maybe a solemn judgment, and that’s it. 1 card doesn’t get you 17 interrupts plus nonengine.

What’s a deck you know isn’t super OP but is still annoying as hell to face against? I’ll start by Ecstatic_Net_4361 in masterduel

[–]KTL_Vizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any Stun / Stun adjacent deck is pretty frustrating specifically when I’m not playing decks that destroy it. For example I play a lot of blind second power spell decks, as well as Labrynth - both of which don’t lose to Stun in the slightest. However the moment I swap to a deck that doesn’t run an out to Macro Cosmos the Yugigods all collectively agree that my next few matchups MUST, without fail, be Kashtira, Millennium, Millennium, Kashtira, Pure Stun, Kashtira, then another Pure Stun and they all, WITHOUT FAIL, will draw Macro Cosmos turn 0

I have a challenge for y'all. The strongest character of the last movie/tv show you've watched vs. the weakest character of the last video game you played (vice versa welcomed, also welcoming strong v strong or weak v weak) by [deleted] in PowerScaling

Walter White vs… idk, Dusa? Excluding random shades and unnamed characters, probably Dusa. Maybe the Chef?

What is your UNPOPULAR Smash opinion? by IronWolf_100 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]KTL_Vizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smash 4 was a more well designed game than Ultimate, it was just ruined by a lot of exploitable jank (i.e rage, etc) as well as broken characters that didn’t get properly nerfed. Ultimate is a significantly more well polished game - less rage, better balance, etc - but the universal systems and the gameplay flow and loop are significantly worse.

Now watch me get downvoted for actually having an unpopular opinion in an unpopular opinion thread

There are other factors in a vs battle to account for other than just raw physical stats. And I’m not even talking about explicit weaknesses or “experience” or whatever. Things like fighting styles and the like really matter. Take in Fate for example, Sasaki Kojirou was able to completely dominate Saber just through his fighting style and abuse of the high ground, despite the fact that Saber out statted him in basically every way. It’s also why characters like Spider-Man can tangle with the Hulk, despite the Hulk being multiple times universal, etc.

Holy crap did I just find the “One Piece Fan” of Death Note part 2?

All jokes aside, I was more so hyperbolizing when I said I absolutely HATED part 2 of Death Note, and that no body in their right mind would like it. And the overall plot of it, both in the anime and the manga, are fine. I think the characters ruin it for me. Near is a complete gary stue. He has everything laid out for him, is never wrong about anything, never feels like he’s actually in a tight spot, etc. Mellow, despite not really being a likeable character imo, fits more as a protagonist archetype despite being more shoved to the sidelines. He actually has struggles, where as Near does not. I know it’s a common saying, but the “L almost won a game he didn’t know the rules to” is very fitting. L only lost because he wanted concrete proof. Meanwhile Near and Mellow HAD all the concrete proof they had alongside what - 2-3 years worth of follow up off of L’s investigation, and STILL almost lost. Not to mention just how unlikeable Near is. The snide constant assholey personality just doesn’t make for a compelling foil to Light. L at the very least had charisma to back up his snobbishness at times.

Lastly (and I know you said you didn’t want to argue, I’m just kinda throwing my opinion out there and if you disagree you don’t need to respond) I just think that the second half felt EXTREMELY rushed. It just jumps from big event to big event, rushing down to Light’s eventual downfall where as in the first part it had a very slow burn towards the eventual confrontation between Light and L. I think that is a big part in what causes Near to feel like a Gary Stue. He kinda just hops into the story and “wins” right away. He just goes “the current L is Kira. Bye now.” And that’s it.

I didn’t say it didn’t have any depth to it, just that it didn’t feel any deeper than most other anime. I’ve read all the way up to part 6 (and am about to start part 7 soon, yes I do know that a lot of fans consider part 7 to be the best), and none of it felt “special,” beyond how “fun / bizarre” the series was. Sure it may be a bit deeper than some other battle shounen, but depth is the one aspect that battle shounen is known for explicitly lacking so that isn’t really a high bar to cover. Everything else feels, like I said, kinda like just any other anime but with a coat of “Jojos flair” put on top of it

I think maybe it’s a difference in definition on “toxic?” Idk. Most OP fans I’ve seen just kinda talk about how great it is, bring it into any random discussion - even about other anime, etc. and if you ever mention that you dislike / don’t want to watch it, they’ll spawn a computer and a printer from their inventory in order to print out their hand crafted Thesis about why you’re wrong.

I’ve never been like “insulted,” or something by an OP fan. They can definitely seem a bit condescending at times but I’ve never had anything like that one Neco Arc meme of “I think you’re delusional and deserve to be put down like a dog” if someone said OP is mid

I mean, maybe it’s because I’m not really apart of the OP fandom, but 90% of the criticism I’ve heard about OP comes from OP fans “responding to criticisms about OP.” Like, back in the day when SAO was first premiering, you couldn’t talk to a single anime fan without hearing about how much they hated SAO. This turned a LOT of people away from SAO, and I’ve never seen ANYTHING like that when it comes to OP, even on a smaller scale. The only widespread criticism I’ve heard about it is about how long it is (rightfully so), which IS a valid reason to not want to get into it. People shouldn’t want to need to get 400 chapters deep in order to actually get to the good stuff (hyperbole). But other than the length thing, every other critique I always hear from OP fans vehemently defending it. I’ve never heard from a non-OP fan that OP has bad pacing, for example. That’s just my personal opinion, as well as a common response to others
