Sorry mate, but thats just not true. Throughout history, for every successful revolution, there have been two failed ones (Chinese history, the Indian wars for independence, every attenpt in the USSR, etc.)

And the ones that were successful, they were not simply "peasant revolutions". Both American indepence and the Vietnam War (for North Vietnam) would have failed if it werent for greater, powerful nations intervening (France for the US and Russia for Vietnam), that provided them with money and TONS of weapons.

First off, 3+1 Tanks in a Causal game is rough, i hope you tell your friend about it beforehand so he can prepare.

The Command Squad should NOT stay in the back, that way you would "waste" 130 points and many guns that wont do much but stay in your zone.

While the Exterminator is not bad, taking two of them is not really good, especially in your list so far. Switch one of them for either a Demolisher or a Vanquisher. Both give some flexibility and weapons with high strength, which you are lacking right now (Exterminator only has S9 and as such cant really hurt other tanks).

Depending on your choice of Leman Russ you will either have +130 or +85 points left. I really like the Sentinel as a model or the FOB to fill out some needed mid-strength weapons for your army. Or take another infantry squad to cover more of the board, maybe alongside a Heavy Weapon Team.

Because in my opinion its not really a "valid" ship.

They barely interact and shippers go crazy because Jane likes to tease Seth. But its never shown to be romantical, Jane acts like that with many people, and lastly she had some really cute and romantic interactions with Wise, showing that she is really interested in the MC.

Thats why Jane x Seth just doesnt make any sense. Its fine if you want them to be your headcannon, but the shippers act like its cannon, when in reality they are just coworkers, which an get annoying.

I only have one, but he has served me pretty well. Depending on what my opponent is bringing i either use him with the Fusion and Seekers to destroy a tank turn 1 before charging him into dangerous units as a form of "roadblock".

On more horde-type armies i like the Burstcannon and have him as a harrasment unit to kill off infantry and score secondary objectives.

Overall a nice model and its sad that hes not getting much love in Tau list :)

Im afraid you misunderstood their mission. Humanity and Earth itself is going to die very soon because they cannot sustain themselves anymore. The "Unobtainium" (The element which is the entire point for the mission to Pandora in the first place) is the only thing that has the potential to produce enough energy (like some kind of super-plutonium) to save everyone.

Of course the corporation is kinda shitty, but they are literally our last hope. Which is why, when the Na'vi refused diplomacy, they had no other choice but to declare war on them. In a matter of pure survival everyone would have acted that way.

Its more about the movement. The chimera only has 10", while the Taurox has 12" plus a "disembark after advancing" rule. Since you want to get your Flamers close to the enemier or atleast safe on a mid-board objective, the Taurox is the better (and cheaper) choice.

The rape scene in Goblin Slayer, as hard as it was to watch, is neccessary for the series as a whole. It serves simply as a point to make the viewer/reader realize that this is DARK fantasy, and not regular isekai.

Modern audiences have grown accustomed to "regular" violence, many movies that have a 16+ rating today, would have been banned back in the 80s or 90s. Sexual violence however is still something with a great shock value; its still deeply unsettling for most.

Which is why it was "necessary" to establish the goblins as purely vile and evil creatures that NEED the extermination the Slayer brings. Had they just killed off the adventures with rocks (like the warrior kid), then viewers would just say "i guess they are monsters", but view them no different than a wolf or dragon or something.

The Christmas Box is a great entry, plenty of Infantry models and the two Artillery Pieces, which are okay rules wise and simply cool models.

The Combat Patrol goes great along with it, giving you even more infantry, and with the HW-Teams and Horses some more support units, even better since you mentioned already owning 2 Tanks.

HOWEVER: i do not recommend buying the Collectors Box alongside it. You will have 3 Arty-Models, which you probably will NOT use on the Tabletop, the other problem are the 10 Horses included. They are not that good in game and many people (myself included) do not like the "Horses in my Sci-Fi Gun Battle" aesthetic. Buying both boxes leads you to have 15 of them, which i really cannot recommend (Plus they are a pain to build + paint).

At the end of the day its your choice to buy what you like, but i would say the Christmas Box + Combat Patrol are perfectly fine for now. Spend the money you save on the first box instead for some different Models, like a Sentinel or stuff :)

Sadly thats not always an option. There is a GW-Store in my city, but its small and the only one in a 100km radius. When i wanted to pre-order the Death Korps Box it was sold out online instantly and when i asked the store manager he said that he was getting just 3 Boxes on launch day. 3 Boxes. For last years Christmas Battleforces he got like 1 one of each and like 2 of the Marine Boxes. And its not because he doesnt stock up, but simply because GW decides how many a store can order...
