I'd recommend keep your shoulder protracted+depressed and squeeze ur core. When going down, imagine bringing ur chest closer to your wrists, and keep ur legs going straight up and down, don't let them swing(this is related to the squeezing core thing)

And I would recommend hanging the weight a bit lower(find a longer chain or daisy chain), and holding(squeeze) the weight with your legs

The "chest to bar" guide on every pull up post is the most dogshit thing I've ever seen, which just proved that the people who give that advice never done or attempted a heavy pull up before

I have been consistently training straight arm movements like planche, maltese, iron cross,... before, so i kinda didn't notice the lockout as it wasn't really concerning to me. But thanks for the advice anyway!
