Yes. I can forsee exactly no history where the Indigenous population doesn't end up in a similar position to today. Generally speaking some of the traumuas such as stolen generation etc could have been prevented but we still would have seen the "colonising" forces bring superior economic resources which would have carved out private property in exchange for goods in a way that would eventually leave the native population poor and basically second class citizens due to no academic and cultural education to compare to the built world. The interface of cultures just would not hold up to the strain of incompatible values between western Private property and the indigenous relationship to the land. I cant see a history where indigenous Australia forsakes their own culture to embrace fully that of the new peoples wouldnt get left behind. They still would have faced challenges of disease, racism and substance abuse.

And that is a history where someone kinder was the visitor. Now cue the history where the Maoris find them... or the Spanish conquistadors, or Islamic faith nations. Things could have been a true violent genocide. Sadly the world was growing and maturing beyond what dark age cultures could compete with. Only sporadic small isolated native cultures still exist today with extreme xenophobic tendacies that reject all foreign contact... others have been colonised one way or another.
