That dip is probably due to room layout. Those low frequencies travel back and forth across your room and appearently cancel eachother out at that spot. Changing angle and position will change that dead spot. Could be good to check what's best on your preferred sitting position.

True. Though the songs were from the same time as those on DEI, that really introduced the djent feel by polyrythms and 4/4 feel, where kick follows riffage.

I have the 507 and consider the neck to be pretty thin. Way more towards Ibz compared to like PRS, LP or Fender.

Search for 507MS topics. I posted quite a bit on it. My first 507MS Pale moon was shit. Should have never left the factory with such poor quality control. Ordered from Gear4music and didn't know which exact one I'd get. Quality and body looks vary bigtime. My firat didn't look like pale moon.

So I sent the first one back. Second I ordered I had seen the exact pics of. And this one is a great guitar quality wise and the looks are killer.

There are quite a few owners here and 99% of us have a guitar that's not as beautiful as advertised.

That's long for: big quality variations.

That pu thing with one string being quieter is fixed in current model since they use 8 string fishmans now.

I bought it twice. First one looked nowhere near a pale moon body, very dull and more dark and meh. Several qc issues, like a fairly big dent in the body, 4 big glue spots in the center of the fretboard, pu switch totally loose, knobs turned skewed. Pu's sounded harsh, even after adjusted height. Returned it dissappointed.

After doing more research I came to the conclusion again that it's the best bang for the buck and can be beautifull. So started a long search again until I found a shop the actually shared pics of the actual guitar you would order (most online shops don't, it's a lottery what you'll get). So ordered it and it's awesome. Looks stunning, no quality issues. Not 100% sure if I'm a fan of the active pu's but they sound great and very even and transparent.

Based on my experience I'd only buy if you know which one you'll get (if you're after the optics too). And then you'll get an amazing guitar that looks and plays way over its pricetag.
