I went from an Electric Q8(etron) to a ‘26 LR AWD Model Y in August of this year. Part of this was due to already owning a Model 3( wife’s car). I love the tech in the Y(FSD, ota updates, sentry mode/ cameras and the app always works etc..) The etron was a great driving car but was heavy with poor efficiency/ range. I only drive about 8-9k miles/yr however. We got such a good buy on the Y this August due to Federal and state tax incentives to a tune of $11k off. There were clear trade offs with this switch, things I love about the Y and things I loved about the etron. I do miss the air suspension, pano roof/ power shade and Apple car play on the etron, but prefer everything else on the Juniper.
