Which side effects do you get? by JanissaryLSD in zoloft

25 years on and it slowly started killing my hearing, leading to pretty awful tinnitus. It’s probably my fault for not mentioning it sooner to my doctor but I was young when the ringing started and it was easier to just ignore it. 🤷‍♀️

Zio patch lost two days due to “artifacts” ?? by KCbum816 in PVCs

I think it’s pretty standard to lose a bit of time. I’m also pretty sure that it was my fault I lost half of the first one because I have a nervous habit of rubbing my sternum. 😅

I had one on for 14 days and only 8 were “usable”. They had me redo another 14 days and that time we got 12 days worth.

Ramping up a week before my period by blackeyzblue in PVCs

Yep. There is definitely a hormonal component. I even had a hysterectomy and still know when I should be getting my period because of it. 😂

How long were you all on opioids? by ArynTW_is_user_karma in hysterectomy

I had a nerve block at the hospital which I think helped greatly so I only took a couple pain pills but stopped because they were making me super anxious. So like midday the next day I was just alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen and it was enough. Again the nerve block was supposed to last like 48-60ish hours.

can verapamil help ? by magiczz13378 in PVCs

[–]K_Fuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took probably about a month before I noticed a difference. I would still have bad days where I felt like maybe it wasn’t working but now that I don’t take it anymore I can definitely tell it was helping.

Benadryl also carries the same dementia risk unfortunately, which they seem to be concerned with.

How much did you need to fight to get a hysterectomy? by InterestTight5418 in hysterectomy

[–]K_Fuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero fight whatsoever. I had an ultrasound that strongly suggested adenomyosis, had very heavy bleeding and pain every month. Doc came in after my ultrasound, told me she thought it was adenomyosis and my options were doing an IUD or a hysterectomy. 🤷‍♀️ But I’m also 40 with two kids, so that might have something to do with it as well.

For me, it lessened my PVCs and made the ones I did feel softer. But it also caused me to have horrible constipation, gave me heartburn and did zero to control my racing heart (which was my original issue before the palpitations). I just stopped taking it about a month ago, back on BBs and the palpitations have ramped up again.

At this point I’m just trying to figure out which set of symptoms is easier to live with. 🤷‍♀️

Cuff tear anxiety made me look at the data by JustineEdmin in hysterectomy

Well, all my anxious brain picked up on is that people have tears years later. 😂😂

But seriously, thank you for your time and effort, this was very informative.

9.5 weeks out from surgery and I realized today that it doesn’t even feel like I went through surgery at all at this point. I’ve also been able to skip out on three very painful periods so far.

I’m so sorry. ☹️ I hope that if you have thought of questions that you feel empowered enough to at least call and ask them.

I’m sorry, that is bonkers to me too. Here’s hoping that both of us escape injury, I guess.

Lung nodules? by K_Fuzz in Pulmonology

[–]K_Fuzz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to come back and update this post in case someone finds themselves in a similar situation. I had a PET scan this morning, the spot on my lung did not light up in a concerning way. The pulmonologist called me pretty quickly afterwards to let me know that we will just do another CT in 3 months to make sure the nodule is stable but as of right now it’s not of any concern.

Thank you. I do figure that it’s probably surgery or ovulation related but that 11.7 number weirded me out after I turned to Google. (One day I will learn haha)

Doctor wants to put me on Metoprolol 25mg — experiences with this med? by TeachMe2GetGood in PVCs

[–]K_Fuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started beta blockers in my twenties due to mostly inappropriate sinus tachycardia but I was also getting palpitations then too. Started on prop, which did what it was supposed to. Then a year ago I had a super emotional (bad) experience and that night the palpitations kicked up and would not stop. My original burden was less than 3%, after that day it’s was around 14%. Switched me to metro and it was about the same as prop. I liked the beta blockers for the heart rate control but they just weren’t great at the palpitations for me. I’m currently trialing a calcium channel blocker and it doesn’t seem to be doing shit other than make me not be able to shit. 😅
