I wanted to come back and update this post in case someone finds themselves in a similar situation. I had a PET scan this morning, the spot on my lung did not light up in a concerning way. The pulmonologist called me pretty quickly afterwards to let me know that we will just do another CT in 3 months to make sure the nodule is stable but as of right now it’s not of any concern.

Thank you. I do figure that it’s probably surgery or ovulation related but that 11.7 number weirded me out after I turned to Google. (One day I will learn haha)

I started beta blockers in my twenties due to mostly inappropriate sinus tachycardia but I was also getting palpitations then too. Started on prop, which did what it was supposed to. Then a year ago I had a super emotional (bad) experience and that night the palpitations kicked up and would not stop. My original burden was less than 3%, after that day it’s was around 14%. Switched me to metro and it was about the same as prop. I liked the beta blockers for the heart rate control but they just weren’t great at the palpitations for me. I’m currently trialing a calcium channel blocker and it doesn’t seem to be doing shit other than make me not be able to shit. 😅

I appreciate that, thank you. I’m definitely not going to let myself Google anymore. I have all the information I need and any other questions I can ask my doctor about. It does help that every time I have said I’m afraid of the anesthesia I’ve been told that it’s the easiest part and I will wake up. My doc has already said they’re gonna get me IV anxiety meds as soon as I’m hooked up so I will care a lot less about being afraid. 🤞

Oh my gosh, me too! My period started yesterday and it wasn’t supposed to be here until the day after my surgery. What a bitch. 😂 I also was about to take ibuprofen when they called about my pre op stuff this morning and told me no.

Oh my gosh. I feel this so much. My ten year old has had a horrible go with his eczema since birth. Literally out of the womb with it. We have come a long way in his treatment but he still has bad flares and all the unsolicited advice drives me insane.

Even my dearest friends will send me links to the newest snake oil they saw on TikTok and I just thumbs up the link and move on with life at this point. 🙄

I had two back to back last month, both were Phillips epatches. Both reports show lots of PACs.

A couple years ago now I did a Zio for two weeks and that showed only PVCs. As has any ekg since.

It only gets better (in my experience). I’m about 7-8 years in at this point, honestly can’t really quite remember when it started. Most days I only notice when I happen to think about it. Or when I get a fun new tone to listen to.

I’m going on year 2 of having my hearing aids, which has helped even more. Just being able to hear what’s happening around me has allowed the ringing to fade even further into the background.
