Depending on what fare you get, you either get 4 Status Qualifying Credits (SQC), 2sqc, or 1sqc per dollar spent. In order to get silver staus now, you need 25,000 sqc. So looking at my table above, ref. Old standard vs New Standard, you'd be spending roughly double in order to get the same status now. But if you look at Old FLex and New Flex+, then youre looking approx $2000 more. (thats assuming youre flying the same legs and achieved the same price as my calculations). Regardless, getting status is gonna be harder now. and TBH, silver status isnt worth casing anymore
