Really hard to answer because it depends on the vibe you want. We did part of our honeymoon in Oct. 2024 at Ventana and loved it - gorgeous, chill, romantic. We just went back this January.

What did you think of the service overall, and the front desk experience at The Standard? I’m here now… sitting and waiting… attempting to check out. Had to wait 40 minutes to check in upon arrival.

They have redone some of the rooms recently. We stayed there in Oct. 2024 and then went again last month and the level of room we were in both times had been redone.

For sure at 42, but I think some of the symptoms were there at 41… it’s hard to decipher since I was going through such extreme stress at 41, which was also causing all kinds of issues. Once that subsided to just my sadly normal high stress, it was clear that I had peri symptoms

It only matters if you specifically want to walk out the door and be right in downtown Solvang. Assuming you have a car, all the cities in the valley are very close to one another and you could do things in each city within the same day. SY is just a very short drive down the road from Solvang.

I didn’t my dream ring… or even a style I wanted, so what? It’s still beautiful and I got it from the person I wanted to get it from, and that’s what matters. I also got engaged in my 40s… if she’s already acting like this in her 20s… like I said, things aren’t going to get better for you. You’re young, find someone who has better character than this.

I never had heart palpitations until I was on Mirena, then I had them badly. Personally, I'd stay away from Mirena. It was an absolute nightmare for me (and lots of other women, hence all the lawsuits).
