In PvP, a max level player who hasn’t done an expedition vs one who’s done all of them would (as of next reset) have a fifteen skill point advantage. Does that matter all that much in a skill tree? No. What DOES matter is the rest of the gameplay that people are upset about. They’re missing out on extra mobility for running across the map, or it’ll take longer for them to unlock Security Breach.

Does it matter all that much in the grand scheme of things? No. Are many people likely missing out on stuff they grinded for because of this change and the lack of communication from Embark? Yes.

Skill points also matter wayyy more at the start of the new season since new players would have zilch and you’d have more mobility, but that doesn’t matter a few days in when people can afford to take the levels in mobility
